Fall of Kings

O.k, this is my story. Luek is my character, as is any monster that I may use. Kahriss belongs to my friend. If you want to use my characters, e-mail me and I'll decide. If you want to use Kahriss, e-mail me and I'll ask my friend. Using my concepts, characters or otherwise without first asking then putting credit will result in a Spooning. In addition, I don't own Sailor Moon or her cronies, I just like them. Forgot who does though!  And Finally, Giseino Shinzui owns Sailor Orion, and if you want to see some other stuff she's in, go to Sailororion.com.

P.S. I also own the Starbrights, and any Nitro's that make an appearance. Take them and I will send my deadly team of  giant killer assassin monkeys after you!

"Whasa Negaverse?" Quote from young Luek.

I choose to start this story now.

Prologue

"WAHHHHH!!!" Luek's voice came from the nursery. Hotaru staggered out of bed and

checked the clock. It was one o'clock of course. She went in to see Luek squirming in his cot.

"WAHHHHH!!!" Luek screamed again. Haruka and Michiru walked in, their eyes full of

sleep.

"What do you think he needs now?" asked Michiru.

"With the way he's squirming? Diaper change of course!" Hotaru had grown a bit since Luek

had been reborn to a baby. It had been against the fight against Dodrite that he had self destructed to

try and kill him. He'd failed, but at least Dodrite had been damaged enough for Hotaru to beat him.

"Great! Why can't he just grow fast, like you did!" Haruka complained.

"Why are you groaning? I have to change him!" Hotaru pointed out. She did the duty and held him over her shoulder, patting him gently. Luek, however, wriggled out of her grasp and fell to the ground with a loud 'THUMP!'

"LUEK!" Hotaru cried. Luek just gave his baby giggle and crawled off.

"I am not in the mood for this!" Hotaru sighed. Luek was crawling at a fast enough pace that he reached the doorway and disappeared from view.

"Oh Oh!" Michiru warned. Hotaru gave chase, but only saw him climbing into a space too small for the rest to fit in.

"Oh no!" Hotaru groaned. "We'll never get him out of there!"

"Yes we will, very simple!" Haruka laughed. "We'll bribe him with chocolate!"

They got some chocolate from the cupboard and held it in front of his hiding spot. Two little eyes appeared, followed by the rest of his chubby baby face. He grinned eagerly and crawled for the chocolate. They kept moving it back, and Luek couldn't understand why no matter how long he crawled, the chocolate didn't get any closer.

"Buh!" Luek pouted. He made a sudden, baby lunge for the chocolate, and fell right out of his cubbyhole. Hotaru caught him and gave him the chocolate.

"Chohee!" Luek giggled, and got his face all messy with the chocolate.

"We'd better wash his face." Michiru suggested. He got washed up, much to his protest because he didn't like water, and put him back into the crib. Luek cried out.

"Mahee!" with outstretched arms. Hotaru sighed, and took him to her bed. In the room next to her, Michiru and Haruka's room, was their baby, Amber. They'd adopted Amber, and the pair of babies were about the same age. They fought as often as they cooperated, and they were often seen with a devilish look in their eyes. Generally before something happened.

"Hush Luek!" Hotaru began a lullaby. "Hush little baby, don't say a word…"

KABOOM!! The side of Hotaru's room was blown out.

"What the?!"

"Hand over the child!" A figure from the shadows commanded. The room lit up and a silver skinned man floated out of the smoke.

"What are you!" Hotaru demanded.

"Hand over the child!" The guy repeated. Hotaru noticed that his voice was mechanical. Luek started to cry. The other two ran in.

"What the?" Haruka cried out. "URANUS CRYSTAL POWER, MAKE UP!!"

"NEPTUNE CRYSTAL POWER, MAKE UP!!"

"What do you want?" Demanded Haruka.

"I have come for the child." The cyborg, for that was what Hotaru decided it had to be, replied. "Give him to me!"

"No!" Hotaru screamed. Luek was still crying.

"Very Well!!" The cyborg unfolded two lasers from each arm. The four lasers fired at Neptune. Haruka tripped Michiru over, and the lasers missed.

"Space Sword Blaster!!" The cyborg simply disappeared, then reappeared behind Hotaru. It grabbed Luek, then ran out the hole he came through.

"LUEK!!" Hotaru screamed. She fell back on her pillow and started sobbing.

"Hotaru, don't worry, we'll get him back!" With that, the two Outers ran from the room and gave pursuit. Hotaru just lay there sobbing, until she fell to sleep.

Chapter 1

"Master! The child will not be quiet!" The cyborg called. Luek was crying.

"When did you feed it last?"
"2 days, 13 hours, 24 minutes, 33 seconds ago."
"Feed it again you fool!" The master was impatient, his robots were too unintelligent. He knew that his master was getting restless, waiting for something to happen. The child was the key.

"Cyborg 22, take the child to be hooked up." The Master stepped off his throne.

"When the plan succeeds, we will have back our queen." He said to himself.

He walked over to a computer console and stood behind it's user.

"Cyborg 199, how long until the machine is active? We need to hook the child up, and the machine needs to be active."
"Approximate time: Based on current rate of work, construction shall be complete in… 1 day, 23 hours, 1 minute and 35 seconds." the cyborg replied.

"Speed it up!" The master snapped. "We will soon be discovered, and I want to be ready!"

"Affirmative." The cyborg said. "However, If construction is sped up to maximum, work will still require 1 day, 12 hours, 30 seconds if we start now"

"Make it so! I will suffer no more delays!" Yes, he had changed in that time since his first encounter with the Scouts. Changed a great deal. And now that he had Nitro Mech, he would not be beaten. His plan was that the child would be the power provider for his superweapon. Only briefly, because after a time his plan would no longer need him. Then he intended on locking the child up, for trying to kill him would be fruitless.

"Excellent!" He said with that thought.

"WE HAVE TO GET HIM BACK!" Hotaru roared. "He's almost like my own son, and I love him more than that, you should know that!"

"We do know that, remember, we were there when he took a blast for you from that Nitro Blood maniac. We will do our best to get him back." Haruka reassured her. "Even if he is technically an invader!" Luek was the male defender of his home planet, Mech. As with the Starlights he was an invader technically, the male defenders were known as Nitros.

"But how? We don't even know who took him and why!" Hotaru complained.

"There'll be a way!" Michiru said.

"We should really go to see the Inners." Haruka suggested. She was still holding Amber.

"NO!" Hotaru cried out, making Amber awaken.

"Why not?" Michiru asked.

"This is between whoever did it, and us." Hotaru explained.

"O.k, but I still think you're crazy!" Haruka told her. "But if it becomes too desperate, we will call them!"

"O.k, but only if it gets desperate!" Hotaru conceded.

They bent over a table and began planning, writing a list of things they could do to try and find Luek. About half an hour into it, there was a knock at the door. Michiru went to answer it.

"Hello?" Michiru asked. On her doorstep were four girls in the school uniform of Serena's school.

"Hi, we were on our way to school, when we stopped by this house and saw the damage. What happened?" The one at the lead asked. She had black hair like Hotaru's and meatballs in her hair.

"Uhhh, well!" Michiru thought fast.

"We heard that there was a cyborg or something here!" One of the people behind her chimed in. She had long red hair, in a ponytail, and pointy things on her head, like Rini had had.

"Well, there was no cyborg, but there was an accident, we don't know what happened." Michiru explained. One of the people, the one with short white hair, suddenly clicked her fingers.

"Now I remember where I saw your face from. You're Michiru, the violinist! I love your music!"

"Thanks!" Michiru beamed.

"Do you mind if we come in? We are awful hungry, and it's not every day we get to talk with a star!" The lead one asked. "By the way, I'm Erin, the one with red hair is Gadge, the one with white hair is Celt and the one with blue hair is Maiar. We are a team of Poker players, real pros!"

"Sure, come on in!" Michiru moved out of the way, and the four girls walked in. "Poker hey? Haruka would love to meet you."
"Haruka the Racer? Cool! What other stars do you have hiding here?" Celt asked eagerly.

"Only Hotaru and Amber, but they aren't stars really!" Michiru led them to the kitchen.

"I HEARD THAT!" Hotaru's voice floated in from the den. The two walked into the kitchen, with Amber over Haruka's shoulder.

"Who are these people?" asked Hotaru, immediately suspicious.

"These are," Michiru said, pointing to each one in turn. "Erin, Celt, Maiar and Gadge. They strolled in off the street!"

"And you just let them in?" Haruka questioned.

"What, you don't think we'd be able to deal with muggers?" Michiru giggled.

"Hey, we're hungry here!" Gadge called. Hotaru went to get some food for them. She milled around without thinking, and as she was pulling out a packet of caramel biscuits, a word flashed into her mind with such incredible intensity that she dropped the biscuits

"BERRUBOOR!"

She stumbled and fell against the gas tap. Her hair ignited.

"AHHHHHH!!!"

She ran around the kitchen screaming, and got to the tap. She doused her hair and sighed. Hotaru picked up the biscuits and took them in. The others were holding five cards each, even Amber, and were all looking at Hotaru. Amber smacked the cards on the table and said. "Waise!"

"What happened in there?" asked Haruka.

"Uhh I think our new friends should get to school!" Hotaru stammered.

"Why?" Haruka asked.

"NOW!" Hotaru yelled. The others looked shocked, Amber burst into tears, and the strangers collected up their cards and left.

"Seeya!"

"Later!"

"Bye!"

"Now do you mind telling us what that was about?" Michiru demanded.

"I was just contacted be something! It said Berruboor, or something!" Hotaru explained.

"Berruboor?" Haruka asked dubiously

"Yeah, I swear! It almost sounded like something a baby would say!" Hotaru continued.

"Baby? You mean? Luek?" Michiru figured.

"Exactly!" Hotaru exclaimed.

"Then we have to figure out what it means!" Haruka pondered. "Berruboor?"

"Maybe we should get Amy?" Michiru suggested.

"NO!" Hotaru snapped.

"O.k! O.k!"

They sat down at the table, and started to think. They started by writing the word on a piece of paper, and then they treated it like a jumbleword. After about five hours, Setsuna knocked on the door.

"Setsuna! What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be guarding something?" Haruka hinted.

"Usually! I just came to visit! What are you guys thinking about?" Setsuna asked.

"Ever heard the word Berruboor before?" asked Hotaru, still staring blankly at the paper.

"No, but it does sound familiar" Setsuna sat at the table with them, resting the Time Staff against the back of her chair. She leaned back and the Staff took her weight.

"An interesting dilemma! Berruboor?" Setsuna tapped her chin. "What could that mean?"
"Well lets take into account that Luek is a baby, and he wouldn't be able to say things, or probably think them properly. That narrows down the search, but doesn't give us the answer completely. Hotaru, do you have any ideas?"

"Berru? I've changed my mind, we need Amy!" Hotaru sighed. "Or at least her supercomputer."

"Well I'm glad you've given in! Let's go get the Scouts!" Haruka got up, but Hotaru yelled.

"NO! Only Amy! And only I'll go!"

"Alright!"

Hotaru transformed and teleported to Amy's doorstep, detransformed and then knocked.

"Hello? Oh hi Hotaru! Haven't seen you lately! As you know, I'm heading for school now, but you can walk with me" Amy said, and came out.

"Thanks! I'd love too." Hotaru walked alongside Amy as they walked to Crossroads High.

"So what brings you here?" asked Amy. "You don't go to school!"
"I came to ask you a favour, can you help me decipher something?" Hotaru replied.

"Yes, but it will have to wait until after school!" Amy told her.

"Damn! I was hoping you could help now! Oh well. Oh and, don't tell the others, Or I'll be forced to kill you!" Hotaru threatened. Hotaru walked away and Amy stared at her back for a few seconds, then shrugged and kept walking. Hotaru wandered around aimlessly for a while, until a couple of hours later, she looked around and found herself in a park. There at a bench, were the four people that had come to her house earlier. She ambled over.

"Hey you guys!" She called to them. Erin looked up from the card game they were playing and smiled.

"Hey Hotaru! Come join us!" Erin called back.

Hotaru walked over and took the spare seat next to Erin.

"What's your game?" asked Maiar

"You've never heard of Sabacc have you?" Hotaru asked. Sabacc was a card game that originated from somewhere in the universe, a planet near the centre if she remembered correctly.

"As a matter of fact, yes. We picked it up from this guy. Wouldn't tell us his name, but he was pretty good at it. He managed to take forty bucks off each of us before leaving." Celt informed Hotaru.

"Really? Did this man happen to have brown hair, hazel eyes, and a weird figure?" Hotaru asked.

"Well now that you mention it, yeah he was a bit weird!" Erin said. "Nevermind him now, Gadge, deal'em!"

Gadge dealed the seven cards, and picked up his own. Hotaru reached for her cards, and found that the deck was not an Earth one, but an actual Sabacc deck.

"He give you this deck too?" Hotaru asked.

"Yep!"

Hotaru picked up two more cards, frowned, then put one back. The others kept sneaking glances at her, and exchanging their cards also. Celt slammed his cards on the bench.

"HA! I've got a Fools Run!" Hotaru peered and saw that indeed, he did have seven Fools.

"Well I!" Maiar proclaimed. "Have a Planet's Demise!" The three Soldier cards, two Artillery cards and two Battlecruiser cards lay face up.

"I am in possession of nothing!" Gadge then cursed and put his cards down. He had an Artillery card, two Fools, one Battlecruiser card, an Ocean Trident and a Golem Station.

"I've got a Tritons Domain!" And Hotaru displayed her seven Trident cards.

"Well my faithful followers!" Erin said regally. "I have a Sabacc!" And she threw her cards down and displayed the Fool, the Artillery, the Battlecruiser, the Golem, the Trident, the Soldier and the only Sabacc card in the deck. "Now you guys have got to pick up your game, if this was an actual match, you'd have lost your underwear to me by now!"

"Yeah yeah, we know!" and the others sighed.

Hotaru had a thought.

"Aren't you guys meant to be in school?"
"We don't go, we just wear a uniform that looks remarkably similar." Gadge explained.

"Shouldn't you be in school?" countered Celt.

"Theoretically, yes. However I don't." Hotaru stopped at that. "Hey sorry for yelling at you guys before!"

" 'T's O.k. We get yelled at a lot!" Erin accepted. "Anyway I've gotta get going. This bunch of jokers has to make the grade by next Thursday! Seeya!" With that the four left. Hotaru went home.

Chapter 2

When Hotaru walked through the door, she almost expected to hear Luek crying. Of course she didn't. She went to the room where the others were still trying to figure out what the word was. Amy was there too. Amber was sitting in her baby seat, and she gave a shout of glee when Hotaru came in.

"'OLLY!"
"Hey Hotaru! Where you been?" asked Haruka.

"Walking. I met up with those people again." Hotaru said.

"Cool. Anywho, Amy here thinks that this word could be Latin. I dunno, did Luek know any Latin?" Haruka continued.

"If he did, he never told me. And he wouldn't have known it as a baby" Hotaru informed them glumly.

"Oh well, we've narrowed it down a little at least!" Michiru said.

A noise came from the next room, and an android burst from the room.

"Hands up!" The android's mechanical voice buzzed.

"Um, NO! Uranus Crystal Power!"

"Mercury Crystal Power!"

"Neptune Crystal Power!"

"SATURN CRYSTAL POWER!"

They transformed.

"Uwanus Kwistu Powa?" Amber questioned.

"I am the Melancholic Warrior … Sailor Saturn!"

"Invited by a new age, I'm the elegant Sailor Neptune!"

"Invited by a new age, I'm the magnificent Sailor Uranus!"

"Douse yourself in some water and repent!

"Meloncowic?" Amber asked again.

"Danger, Sailor Scouts in area. Run routine AA23!" The Android buzzed to itself. The two lasers folded out from each arm. They fired.

"Ahh!" Haruka yelped as she danced out of the way. "Close one!"

"Submarine Reflection!" Michiru cried, and fired. The beam hit the android, but it merely scorched the surface.

"Silence Glaive, Surprise!" Hotaru screamed and the explosion engulfed the android. Four laser blasts fired at Hotaru.

"Aiiee!" Hotaru cried out, and jumped straight up.

"World Shaking!" And Haruka flung the ball. The android grabbed it.

"What the?" Haruka goggled. The android laughed, and the ball was taken into it.

"Power received! World Shaking!" And the android's attack flew at Haruka. She dodged, but just barely.

"Mercury Aqua Rhapsody!" and with that, Amy attacked. The attack was driven off track by the shield the Android extended.

"Mechanic Blast!" The android buzzed, and a brown beam flew from an outstretched finger. The table behind them exploded as the beam hit it. There was a flash of light blue light, The sound of cards being shuffled, and the android topple through the wall and outside. In a tall tree in Hotaru's backyard four people were standing, one higher than the others.

"Nitro, Stardefender!"

"Nitro, Stardestroyer!"

"Nitro, Stardamage!"

"We're the Starbrights, Deal 'em!"

The four characters jumped to the ground. There were three males, and a female. The female spoke.

"And I am Nitro Iceball! Let's go Starbrights!" Each Starbright jumped off in a different direction. Stardestroyer jumped to the right, up onto the roof. Stardamage jumped left, onto a fence. Iceball jumped back up into the tree, and Stardefender stayed put.

"Starbrights, attack plan fourteen!" Iceball ordered.

"Right!" The one on the roof said. "Star Rough, DESTROYER BLAST!" The attack hit home and the android stumbled back.

"I shall go. Star Heartless, BLAST CANNON!" The one on the fence cried.

"Taking damage, fire!" The android buzzed.

"Whoa oh. Star Joking, SHIELD!" The one at the base of the tree yelled. A shield rose up around him and took the blast. The shield went red and fired it back. The android's left arm flew into the ground, blown off.

"And now it's my turn. Iceball Chilling, FULL HOUSE!!!" The female cried. Four ice-blue cards appeared in her hands and she threw them directly at the android. It froze solid.

"A well deserved victory guys, give yourselves a pat on the back!" Iceball said as she jumped to the ground. The others went to join her, and followed as she went up to the Scouts.

"So you are the infamous Sailor Scouts? Somehow I expected your band to be bigger!" Iceball noted.

"Usually we are. Hi I'm Saturn." Hotaru introduced. "These are Uranus, Neptune, Pluto who's just arriving now, and Mercury."

"Hi!" Iceball said. "Well, it's been fun, but we really have to get moving. Lets roll Starbrights." She jumped up, as did the others, and they were gone.

"Well they came at the right time!" Uranus noted. "Good thing too!"

"Yeah!"

"Androids, come here!" The figure ordered. "Is the suit ready?"

"Yes my lord. The suit is finished and all it requires is the pilot. Do you wish to inspect it?"

"Of course I do you dense machine! Also feed the child, and hurry up!" The man snapped. He walked down to the construction centre. This was where all of his creations were kept. His latest one, the Combat Suit, would be his coup de grace. He would then be able to resurrect his queen, and then they would have all the supplies he needed to take over the universe. He stepped out of the shadows, and ran his fingers down the Suit.

"Finally, I shall have my revenge on Luek. Finally Nitro Blood will be victorious!" Garrack laughed. "I AM NITRO BLOOD!!! BAH HA HA HA HA HA HA!!!!!"

"Master, shall I fetch the child?" an android buzzed.

"Yes, fetch the child and place him in the power core." Garrack ordered. The android left. When it returned, it was hold Luek, who was looking around with his eyes wide, taking in everything. Luek started to cry and beat his pudgy fists against the android.

"LE'GO, LE'GO!!!" Luek cried.

"Be quiet Luek! You are going to be taking part in a grand day. You will be the centre of attention for quite a while!" Garrack said. Luek's crying abated a little, and he even smiled.

"Berruboor!" He giggled. The android placed him in the core. Garrack got in the Combat Suit and locked the helmet on. Luek's crying increased.

"Turn the power on!" Garrack ordered. The android flicked a switch and the core glowed a bright red.

"Ahhh!" Luek screamed. The cables leading from the core to the Suit lit up. The suit glowed the same bright red as it started absorbing energy. Finally the energy stopped, and Luek was taken out of the core. Garrack flexed the muscles of the suit.

"Excellent!" He reached over to his back and pulled a sword.

"The one thing that has never been found. The one thing Luek had been searching for all his life to destroy, but never did he find it. The Chaos Sword!!" Garrack roared with laughter. The Chaos Sword shone with black light. Garrack swung it at an android. It went through like a laser through paper. The two android halves fell away from each other. He then aimed it at a faraway wall and fired it. Black light destroyed the wall. It was just there one second, then the darkness engulfed it, then it wasn't. Garrack laughed with glee.

"Finally I can destroy the Sailor Scouts and rule the universe, with Yarnie at my side!" Garrack sighed. It was a long time coming, but it would finally happen. The universe would be his.

"Yo guys, we're in trouble!" Adam called to the others. "Luek's been captured, and we have to free him."
"Brilliant Adam. Smartest thing you've said all week. And here I was thinking we should just leave him to whatever freak has him!" Mathew retorted. "And anyway, we haven't found the Outers yet, only one. And he's practically useless."

"HEY I HEARD THAT!" Darren said. "My wind blades have saved you guys at least twice!"

"A pub brawl doesn't count!" Ben yelled at him from the computer. He was typing up something that the others didn't much care about.

"Does so!" Darren called back defensively.

"Doesn't!" Adam agreed

"Doesn't!" Mathew snorted

"Doesn't!" Ben yelled

"Doesn't!" Sam said as he came out of the bathroom.

DING DONG!

"We have a doorbell?" Adam asked.

"Apparently!" Ben said.

Adam answered the door.

"Hello, we saw your ad in the paper, the one saying you were looking for the Outer Nitros! Well I'm Nitro Pluto, A.K.A Kayan. This is Nitro Neptune, otherwise known as Tommy. We are the two Outer Nitros."
"Can you prove this?" Adam questioned dubiously.

"Certainly! Tommy?" Kayan asked.

"O.k. NEPTUNE NITRO POWER!!"

"And me. PLUTO NITRO POWER!!"

They transformed. Kayan was clothed in purple, Tommy in blue-green.

"DEAD SCREAM!!" Kayan said, and pointed his Staff at the wall.

"DEEP SUBMERGE!!" Yelled Tommy, with his hand aimed outside.

"O.k, now I believe you. Kayan, if you are going to be a Nitro, there are a few rules.

1. You must always clean up your mess.

2. You must go on a pub crawl at least once a week.

3. Never use an offensive power on a fellow Nitro. Through reasons unknown you will have your power taken away.

4. Membership fee is two hundred credits.

Understood?" Adam finished. Four hundred credits were put into his hand. "And now Kayan, obey rule one! There's a broom in the closet." Kayan went to the indicated closet and started to sweep up the debris from his attack.

"Ben! Get off that computer and show these two bums to their quarters!" Mathew ordered. "And as for you two. Our weekly pub crawl is tonight, please wear attire suitable for the occasion, you will need at least five hundred credits to cover booze expenses, this is based off experience. At current boozo costs one credit per happy juice, you should have five hundred credits worth of lala in you. Got it?"

"Er, yes!" Tommy stammered.

"Good, then get dressed!" Mathew shot out. The two newcomers followed Ben.

"They won't be difficult to break!" Sam remarked.

"Yeah. It will still take some time though! Meanwhile, lets get dressed!" Mathew ordered. "WE GOT A PUB CRAWL!!"

"YEAAAHHH!!" The others cheered.

"Starlights! Get over here!" Ordered Princess Fireball.

"Yes Princess?" Seiya asked.

"We've got to go to Earth, Luek needs help and we owe him." Fireball informed them.

"Damnit! We were in the middle of something!" Yaten complained.

"Shut up! If Princess says we're going to Earth, then damn skippy we're going to Earth!" Seiya yelled at Yaten.

"O.K, o.k, we'll go to Earth!"

"Ahh!" Kahriss screamed as he awoke. He had been dreaming that Luek had been captured by Nitro Blood.

"That can't be, we destroyed him." Kahriss said thoughtfully. "Still, best to be sure!" He got dressed and left his quarters in the military building. He had been brought to the future by Nitro Blood the first time, because of his disrupting of the universe. Now Kahriss was stuck in the future, but that suited him fine. He had met two other people who had been dragged to the future with him, Jenkins and Hobbes. He went to find them now.

"Hey Kahriss! Hey man what's up. We can't be caught walking around like this, the Sarge'll have our heads." It was Hobbes.

"Hey Hobbes! Man have you seen Jenkin?" Kahriss greeted him.

"Mess hall last I saw. C'mon we'll go get him!" Hobbes led the way.

On the way there, Hobbes made conversation.

"So what's the big hoohah?" Asked Hobbes.

"An old friend of mine might be in trouble. I believe you might have known him. Luek." Kahriss told him.

"Luek? Yeah I know him. We used to be good friends, but he disappeared. Wonder where he went." Hobbes thought aloud.

"He's been hiding out on a backwater planet. You know, one of those systems that the Surveyors found, put a report sounding something like 'This system wouldn't pull it's weight in the Federated Systems, lets just leave it here and pretend we never found it', then just put the report in the first trash can they could find. They call it the Milky Way. Adunno. Seems stupid to me!" Kahriss informed Hobbes.

"I heard of that before. Seems it was the focus of a Negaverse attack a while ago. Weren't they on the receiving end of one of Dodrite's attacks?" Hobbes asked

"Yeah but it's the only system still with both Nitro's and Sailor Scouts. Dodrite ended up being killed." Kahriss said

"No kidding? Dodrite is actually dead? That's impressive. And they still have warriors? That's not bad in itself." Hobbes was obviously awestruck.

"Yeah. I still remember the Nitro wars. They were vicious. Do you remember them?" asked Kahriss.

"Yes. As I remember, they started when the Nitro's had a disagreement. Apparently the scientists had discovered a way for a Nitro's personality to be transferred to a robotic body, while keeping the Powers. Some Nitro's thought that it was unethical, while others thought that the chance for immortality was to great an opportunity to pass up. As a personality could be copied, once the robotic body was destroyed or aged beyond repair, they could just copy it to a new body. Thus, immortality. So the war began. Those Nitros in metal forms could just keep copying personalties, while the Nitros still in bodies were cloned. It was a war that lasted centuries. Entire planets were devastated, some destroyed. In the end, the Sailor Scouts of the universe intervened, and they took away both the cloning and mindtransfer technology and banished it to a tiny dimension. They designated two Scouts to guard the entrance to that dimension. They're still there as far as I know." Hobbes reminisced.

"Right. Sailor Tanis and Sailor Sinat. Sisters I believe. Anywho, That was when a lot of good Nitro's were lost. The rest of them, and the Sailor Scouts of the universe, were lost against Dodrite. Long before he took the reins of the Negaverse. I wonder why it's taken so long for the Nitro's and Sailors to be reborn." Kahriss pondered.

"You have been out of touch, haven't you? I just went to Intelligence section 1 and they report Sailor Scouts starting to pop up all over the place. Still no Nitro's though! Odd." The pair finally reached the Mess Hall. Jenkins, a man of blond hair, green eyes, and of medium build, was sitting down finishing desert.

"Jenkins man! How are you?" Kahriss sat down beside the man.

"Hey Kahriss. I'm just finishing tea." Jenkins said.

"For the past half hour? You don't want to go back to your barracks do you?" Hobbes laughed.

"Would you go back? Jeez, it's almost like a torture chamber in there sometimes. Mind you." He took a sip from his coffee mug. "It was no better in the past! And the coffee's better too."

"Yeah. Hey, remember Luek? I've had some dreams, I think he may be in trouble."

Jenkins looked concerned.

"Man that's a name I haven't heard in a long time. Last I heard, he was heading off on a quest to find a relic of some sort. Chaos Sword wasn't it?"

"Yeah, but he never found it. Anyway, we need to head off to find Luek. He's been, reincarnated I suppose, and he's a little tyke again. That much raw power can't fall into enemy hands. He's only a child after all." The others paled.

"You're right." Hobbes stammered.

"We need to find out if he's in trouble!" Kahriss said.

"And if he is, help him!" Jenkins ended the conversation. "And if someone has him, someone purely evil, may god have mercy on us!"

CHAPTER 3

Hotaru fell asleep. After twenty seven straight hours of thinking, she fell asleep. The other kept on doggedly to work out the mystery word. Amy had gone through all of the old languages to try and discover what it meant, and the others just kept trying to unscramble it. Haruka looked at the clock on the wall. 3 o'clock. She rubbed some more sleep out of her eyes.

"O.k you guys, we won't be able to help Luek if we pass out from exhaustion, maybe we should get some sleep." Michiru suggested. Amber giggled.

"Bear!"

"Well I'm glad to see someone's happy!" Setsuna sighed. Amber giggled again.

"Ball!"

"Amber this is no time to play!" Michiru picked up Amber and took her to her crib, where she kept crying out "BEAR!" and "BALL!"

"Michiru I agree with you. Let's get some sleep. Setsuna can you carry Hotaru, and Amy…" Haruka broke off when she saw Amy sleeping. She slumped off the table and thumped on the floor. Amy snorted.

"Buh! I'm awake!"

"Well not for long. We're all going to get some sleep! You, too." Haruka ordered. Setsuna took Hotaru to her room, and teleported away. Michiru and Haruka went to bed, and Amy slept on a chair in Amber's room. Hotaru was having a dream. Luek was an adult again, and he was sitting on a throne, with a ball floating between his hands. He was peering into it intently, and suddenly, a blond haired man stepped out from the shadows. Hotaru identified him as Jadeite. Luek spoke something that Hotaru couldn't hear, and when he finished, Jadeite bowed and left. Luek laughed, but it was not his voice. It was a females laugh, a female of pure evil. Then Luek started to turn his head, and when he was facing Hotaru, she woke up.

"AHHH!" Hotaru screamed. She looked at her watch. It read 12:00pm. Great, she'd slept in.

Hotaru got up and realised she was still dressed. She must have fallen asleep in the middle of the job. Quickly she changed and went out to the kitchen, where the others were just having lunch.

"Did I miss breakfast?" Hotaru asked.

"Yeah but so did the rest of us. And it's too late now. Join us for lunch instead." Haruka sat her down, and their bell rang.

"Oh yeah, those nice people are coming over too!" Michiru got up and let in the four people. they all sat down and ate.

"So you guys, in for a game of Poker today?" asked Haruka.

"Nah, forgot our cards!" Celt said.

"Don't believe her for a second!" Erin chided. "We brought them!"

She handed out the cards, Hotaru excluded. She drank some tea, while thinking about the word. Her mind flashed back to Amber. Bear and Ball. Was she trying to help? Hotaru asked herself.

"ILL!!" Amber laughed. She also had five cards. She picked up some of her chips and threw them into the pot. "Waise!"

Hotaru looked over at Amber's cards. She had a royal flush. Hotaru withheld a laugh.

"O.k, show your cards!" Erin said. She displayed her cards, a straight. Michiru showed nothing, Haruka had two pairs, Celt had two pairs as well, Gadge showed a full house and Maiar showed three aces. Hotaru put Amber's cards down for her. The others looked at the cards in dismay.

"Beaten by a two year old!" Celt sighed. "How…"

The four hung their heads and spoke in unison. "Embarrassing!"

Hotaru moved the chips over to Amber and said "More for her college fund!"

"As if she needs it!" Haruka retorted.

Hotaru left and went into the room Amber and Luek had shared. Amy was in there staring at a piece of paper with the absurd word on it. The room was littered with crunched up paper, which had held some of their speculations on the word. Others held games of naught and crosses that had been won. Some even had Hangman games scrawled on them.

"So Amy, how goes the work?" asked Hotaru.

"Nowhere! He must speak another language, one not of Earth!" Amy despaired

"He may have spoke Mech, his native language!" Hotaru realised.

"Show me an example!" Amy demanded.

"Et quara, ai osto, mehcharba, obito Amia!" Hotaru recited.

"What's that mean?" Amy queried.

"It means, Hello Amy, how are you today!" Hotaru answered.

"Interesting! Does Berruboor mean anything in that language?"

"Well it means… Nevermind, it's not nice. Needless it's not something he'd send a person!" Hotaru grimaced. "I think it's more likely that it's a word slurred by babyish youth. He couldn't speak proper English."

Suddenly it struck her. Amber had been helping. the three words 'Bear, Ill, Ball!'

"Amy, I have it. Beryl Ball! He wanted us to find Berryless crystal ball thingy!" Hotaru exclaimed

"Good work! Now we have to wait for the others to leave. When we're alone, with the Outers of course, we'll Sailor Teleport to the Moon to find the thing! Beryl never leaves us alone, even in death." Amy sighed.

"Oh well! At least there won't be any fighting done! Just a search mission." Hotaru thanked god.

"Somehow I doubt it!"

The Nitros, having come back from there pub crawl, were horrified on their return, that of the new members, only Tommy was drunk. Mathew stayed sober as possible, but that had proved useful in the drive home.

"Y'know! Tha Kayan fella ish kinda a schtraight arrow! 'Ow are we gunna <HIC> gunna turn shim inta a rheal Nihtro?" Mathew mumbled.

"Ahh adunno! Coursh, efery whun oo joinsh da Nhitrosh enz upb druk 't s'me poin' 'n time!" Sam hicupped.

"Shyeah! I gesh 'ou're righ! 'Memba Ben enywun? 'E shtayed shober for a' leasht sheventeen sheconds! An' we fought 'at w'sh impreshive!" Adam groaned. "Goonigh!" He collapsed to the floor.

"I'm finkin dat dish ish a goo' tyme to tesht Kayan in hish obedience! KAYAN!! Man Down!! 'Ake Aam to 'ish rhoom! 'E's a liile tide! Ash for da rest of yer, I'm goin ta bed!" Ben walked to his quarters, and so did the others. Kayan dragged Adam to his room, then went to bed. In the morning, of afternoon really, they awoke to see Kayan already up about.

"Kayan, what are you doing up? It's only one o'clock! Anyway, mix us up some hangover remedy, the recipe is … Somewhere around here! We need it… OOOUURRRGGHHH!!!" Sam ran to the bathroom. Retching sounds followed. Kayan found the remedy, and mixed it dubiously.

"Engine Oil? Nuclear Waste? Hey Mathew, where can I find Stardust?" Kayan called.

"Try the top cupboard!" He responded, and came out of his room. Kayan checked the cupboard. He found a container of it and poured it in. He checked the list again.

"What the hell is Cornought Spang?"

"Huh? Oh ignore that, it's the name of a ship. Spang is what you should worry about. There's some in the fridge!"

Finally the brew was complete. He filled the syringes and gave one to each. They were handily name coded. They injected it into themselves and were promptly well again.

"Now that that's done, where should we start looking for Luek?" Asked Darren.

"Who?" Tommy and Kayan asked in unison.

"Luek! Nitro Mech! Another Nitro. He's missing and we gotta find him." Adam informed.

"Moon maybe?" suggested Ben.

"What made you suggest the Moon?" asked Mathew.

"Because I'm lazy, and it's close" Ben said.

"Oh. May as well!" Mathew said.

They teleported.

"Princess! We can't reach Earth. There appears to be a field surrounding it. We can go to the Moon however, and the make a shorter teleport in." Taiki informed.

"We will make it so!" Fireball said.

"Kahriss! Bad news. It turns out that if we try to get anywhere near Earth, they'll shoot us down. So violent!" Jenkins told.

"Well we'll just fly into the Moon, blast a hole in their defences and sit back. It's easy enough!" Kahriss said.

"Hah!" Hobbes laughed. "That's what you said at the battle of Tanis! And looked what happened."
"Hey it's not my fault they decided to bring in the fleet for repairs! When I went to scout the place, it was like a morgue on it's day off!" Kahriss defended.

"Yeah! Sure it was! Anyway, can't we just order in some cloaking ships?" asked Jenkins.

"Sure if you want to explain to Sarge what we're doing with experimental ships, on a mission that isn't authorised, because I had a bad dream!" Kahriss snorted. "Not likely!"

"Point! Anywho, we'll just do what you said. What equipment do we need?"

"Well, what we need we'll have to 'borrow' from the armory. I think we'll need some Sabres, at least fifteen blasters, some ships we can 'borrow', Comlinks, and some other essentials, food water etc. Reckon we can get that?" Kahriss asked.

"Won't be easy, but we can get it all. We'll have to skim the ships off of the big military assault that's headed for the Outer regions." Jenkins forehead wrinkled as he thought.

"BOYS!" Sarge yelled. "GET BACK TO YOUR BARRACKS!!"

"Dahhh!" The three started. They went back to their barracks.

"Master, is the Suit satisfactory?" The android buzzed.

"It will do until we can find the entrance. On that topic, how close are we to finding it?" Garrack requested.

"Upon last report, fifty-nine point seven percent on the universe has been searched. Entrance has not yet been found. Estimated time till discovery based on current scan rate, one month, twelve days, fourteen hours, two minutes and nine seconds. This rate cannot be sped up." The android informed.

"Damn. Would it be possible to speed up the search rate if we pulled androids off other jobs?"

"Rate cannot be sped up! All androids still working are working on our other, important project. If we were to pull androids from there, the project would halt. Do you wish to use these androids?" The android expounded
"HELL NO! So we cannot speed up the search. Very Well! Then onto other news. Take the child to the cell, and destroy all keys. Make sure the child is fed though." Garrack had no care to the child being fed, however if he died, he would just be reborn elsewhere, and he didn't want that.

"Leave me android!"
Garrack waited until the android was gone. Garrack spoke.

"This suit will be the only rival to Luek in the galaxy. This suit will be the only thing that can rival his Battle Mech. When the time comes, we will see who is more powerful!" He turned to look at his most treasured possession, his picture of Sailor Blood.

"Dear Ruby, you will soon live again. And Luek! Will! PAY!"
Garrack laughed.

Chapter 4

"Elemental Coin, Power ON!" Luek cried.

"Greetings Nitro!" Ruby laughed. "You visit my home do you? I'm touched!"
"Ruby! You have changed from the person I once knew! Have the solar flares altered your mind so much?"

"You mean, am I insane? HAH! No I am not insane. Little brother, you never could understand the big picture! What will begin here will alter the universe drastically, and we need warriors of your calibre to make it happen!" Ruby cackled.

"Little brother? You mean …" Haruka started.

"Yesssss!" Ruby hissed. "It’s a family matter. I and my bigger brother, Garrack need warriors, and Luek is such a warrior. We will drain the universe of all it's blood, and we will bring forth the creature of ultimate power. We will bring forth Satan. But to do this we need the blood of the universe. Join us little brother, and you shall be spared from the purge!"

"LUEK! DON'T DO IT!" Hotaru yelled. She was fighting off Red Star, a being from the system the Blood Pair were supposed to be defending.

"Ssssiillleeeeennnt Huuuummman! The will of the Blood Pair willl not beee sssssssoo easssssssily sssssswayed!" Red Star ordered. It lunged at Hotaru again, and Hotaru knocked it away.

"Ruby! You are evil incarnate. I thought that a Sailor Scout was designed to be good, obviously I was mistaken. I would not join you if it would save my soul from the fires of the hell you want to bring. Observe, Ruby!" Luek summoned the Elemental Axe, and drew it across his wrist. Black blood poured out. Ruby screamed.

"NO! YOU'RE WASTING GOOD BLOOD!!"

Luek grimaced.

"Then we'd better end this fight quickly if you want my blood!" Luek swung at Ruby, who dodged easily.

"HaHaHaHa!" She laughed.

"Damn you Ruby! Elemental Axe Destruction WAVE!" The wave flew at Ruby, who just stood and smiled, as Garrack hit it away. Ruby fired at Hotaru.

"Hotaru! Get out of the way!"

Hotaru dodged, then cried.

"Silence Glaive Surprise!" And Red Star was no more.

Luek and Hotaru stood side by side in front of Ruby, Hotaru spinning her glaive, Luek wielding the Axe.

"Lets rock Hotaru!" Luek cried, and ran at Garrack, while Hotaru engaged Ruby.

"Go guys!" Michiru called weakly from her spot on the wall.

"GARRACK!!" Luek screamed. He swung the Axe at Garrack. He blocked with the blood sword, then lunged. Luek moved away but got clipped on his arm. He cried out and dropped the axe. It fell back into it's subspace pocket, and Garrack fired off a beam of energy.

"Mech Technological Rift!" And the attack was absorbed.

"Mech Soul Vortex. BURN!"

Garrack jumped out of the way, and the beam came out of the vortex, and grabbed Ruby.

"RUBY!!" Garrack cried desperately. He attacked the beam but it did not release it's grip.

"GAAAAARRRRRRAAAAAAA…" Ruby's scream was cut off when she was dragged into the Soul Vortex. The Vortex closed with a sigh.

"LUEK!! YOU'VE KILLED OUR SISTER, AND RUINED OUT PLANS TO RELEASE THE DARK LORD!! FOR THIS YOU WILL DIE!!!" a massive light flared up, and when it was gone, they were all in space.

"This, Garrack, is a tiny dimension. This is the tiniest dimension in existence. It would take about five minutes to walk from end to end. It is here I will defeat you. THIS IS A FATE BETTER THAN LETTING YOU DESTROY THE UNIVERSE!! DIMENSION BALL!!!!" Luek screamed.

"Luek, NO!!" Hotaru cried.

"Hotaru this is the only way to stop Garrack. I didn't mean to bring the rest of you here. Get out now!" Luek ordered. Hotaru, with tears in her eyes, complied. With another flash they were all out of there except Luek and Garrack.

"Hotaru, what is Dimension Ball?" asked Haruka.

"Dimension Ball is an attack of Lueks. In one and a half minutes, that attack will be charged up completely. Based on the size Luek gave us, twenty seconds after that, the entire dimension will be pulled into itself, destroying everything in it." Hotaru explained. After that there was silence. A minute passed, a minute and a half.

"In twenty seconds, That dimension will be gone." Hotaru grimaced. Fifteen seconds passed, and then a sucking sound came from above them. They looked up.

"…Stant Transportation!" Luek cried, and fell on top of Hotaru.

"HOTARU CLOSE THE VORTEX!" Luek yelled

"Death Reborn Revolution!"
"NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!" Garrack cried from the other dimension. He poked his hand out the hole as it closed. The vortex was closed, Garracks hand fell to the ground.

"LUEK!!" Hotaru cried joyously.

"Hey Hotaru, did you miss me?" He asked. He grinned roguishly.

"Damn you!" Hotaru said. Luek kissed her…

Hotaru awoke.

"NEPTUNE CRYSTAL POWER!!"
"O.k Hotaru we're making a move!" Haruka told her. She was already transformed. "Get transformed and we'll get to the Moon!"

"Be right with you!" Hotaru said. She hopped out of bed and transformed. They Sailor Teleported to the Moon, and saw the ruins there.

"Look at that." Hotaru whistled. "A regular mess. Y'know, it looks like Luek's room did."

"Don't want to know!"

They searched around where the rubble of the throne room would be. Suddenly there were several flashes of light, and a loud roaring sound. The Scouts whirled around, but saw nothing. Michiru thought she saw a glint of steel out the corner of her eye, but saw nothing. Haruka thought she saw some movement , but turned and saw nothing. Hotaru just got up and walked towards a rocky desert. Upon their arrival they saw three small ships, engines still steaming. There were footsteps leading in the other direction. They went back to the ruins. When they got back they saw seven craters that hadn't been there before. Footsteps leading under a pile of rubble were seen. They also saw four footsteps starting nowhere and leading off to the rubble they'd been searching. They ran over and saw the Starlights, and Princess Fireball.

"Starlights? Fireball? What are you guys doing here?" Amy called as they approached.

"Looking for something. What are you doing here?" Seiya asked.

"Looking for Queen Berryl’s crystal ball." Michiru said.

"Ah. O.k, why?" asked Taiki

"So we can… LOOK OUT!"
An android knocked them all to the ground.

"Surrender!" The android buzzed.

"NO!" Fireball said. "Starlights, go!"

"Be careful you guys, these things are resilient bastards!" Hotaru yelled.

"O.k. Star Serious Laser!" The attack blasted the android back, but had no other effect.

"Damn, let me try! Star Sensitive Inferno!"

The attack did very little to the android, and it started walking back to them.

"Grr! Star Gentle Uterus!"

The android raised a shield and the attack deflected back to hit Fireball. She cried out and fell to the ground.

"Damn it is tough!" Seiya cursed.

"Nitro Star Defender!"
"Nitro Star Destroyer!"

"Nitro Star Damage!"

"We're the Starbrights, and you're going down!"

"And I'm Nitro Iceball. Lets go Starbrights!"

"Starbrights!" Hotaru called gratefully.

"Starbrights? What a rip!" Yaten complained.

"Starbrights, attack plan thirty!" Iceball ordered.

"Right!" Each Starbright confirmed in unison. They all started their attacks at the same time. So did the android.

"Mechanical Blast!"
"Star Joking, SHIELD!"
"Star Rough, Destroyer, BLAST!"

"Star Heartless, Blast, CANNON!"

The Shield took the androids blast and fired it back. The other attacks hit the android at roughly the same time.

"And now it's my turn! Iceball Gamete, BLAST!"

The android froze. The Starbrights jumped to the ground and walked up to the Outers.

"I do believe you are looking for Queen Berryless crystal ball thing aren't you?" asked Iceball.
"Well yeah, how'd you know?" asked Uranus. Iceball smiled mischievously.

"I can read thoughts!"

"The ball is not at this place any more. It was destroyed when Beryl was. I do not like to be the bearer of bad news. Your kidnapped friend, I don't know where he is, but there will be someone, somewhere who does. A good place to try will be the Thieves Market." Iceball finished.

"Princess, we are short on time!" Snapped Stardamage.

"Indeed we are, impatient one." Iceball turned back to Hotaru. "I foresee that you will suffer much to get back the one you seek. Let it not discourage you. Farewell!" She jumped up and vanished, along with Stardamage and Stardefender. Stardestroyer stayed behind.

"Hey, Starlights! You guys, take care of that Princess of yours! She's the only one you've got!" He half smiled, then jumped up like the others.

Yaten puzzled over that.

"I know where the Thieves Market is. We'll need to go somewhere else before we can get there though." Hotaru informed everyone.

"Where's that?" asked Seiya. "After all, we may as well tag along!"

"Australia!" Hotaru said.

The Nitros were at this time being sneaky, and had been eavesdropping on the Sailor Scouts after they heard the sounds of battle.

"AUSTRALIA!!" Adam whispered in surprise. "How does she know about that?"

"You forget!" Mathew said sarcastically. "That Luek kept no secrets from Nic, or Hotaru, and you also forget, that we are NOT MEANT TO BE HERE! So be quiet!"

"Oh! Well we'd better get ourselves to the Thieves Market if we are going to find out who has Luek, and where!" They Nitro Teleported away, not noticing that they dropped a piece of paper, on which they had written 'Thieves Market'.

Kahriss and his motley crew were close to despair. They hadn't managed to get through Earths defence, and so they were looking around to see if maybe there had been some sort of teleport that Beryl may have had to teleport her monsters to Earth. He heard a distant sound, like air rushing in to fill a void. He ran towards the sound, put found nothing but dust falling back to the ground. He screamed and stamped his foot.

"DAMNIT! WHAT'S GOING ON HERE?" he yelled. He punched a pillar, and a chunk of rock fell to the ground, where he noticed a piece of paper lying on the ground. It looked recent. He read over it, but it was in a language he didn't know. Kahriss took it to where the other two were waiting, and Jenkins managed to figure it out.

"It says, Thieves Market" Jenkins said. "It must've been left here by the people who made that sound you heard."

"Yeah, and at least it’s a starting point. Let's roll."

"WEGUU!" Luek giggled deliriously. "Hee hee hee!" Nitro Blood was going insane from the annoying child.

"Someone, why is this child here?" He asked.

"Sorry lord!" An android buzzed. "I will take it away." The android picked up the child and took him to his cell. Nitro Blood did something he hadn't done in a while. He channelled his energy, and created a monster.

"Man Australia is a dump! It's too damn dry here!" Haruka groaned. "Why are we here again, Hotaru?"

"Because Luek left ships here, that we can use to jetset across the galaxy. We can't teleport the sorts of distances required, so we'll fly them." Hotaru explained. A monster appeared. They transformed.

"Scouts!" It cried delightedly.

"And we are your worst nightmare!" Haruka exclaimed. "WORLD SHAKING!"

The monster was hit dead on, and it vanished in a red flash. Three more appeared.

"DEEP SUBMERGE!"

"SILENCE GLAIVE, SURPRISE!"

"DEAD SCREAM!"

All the monsters were destroyed.

"Hey! These are easier than those robots. WHOA!" Haruka suddenly felt a shiver across her back. Not long after, so did the others.

"Well what should we do now? It's a pity the Starlights didn't come." asked Haruka.

"Well we should get to the ships, he left them here somewhere." Hotaru found what she was looking for, an oasis in the desert. She ran up to it and had a drink, with the others. Michiru was suddenly struck with a thought.

"What if this is all one big scam? What if Hotaru and Luek planned this from the beginning" She asked.

"What do you mean, Luek's a kid you big idiot!" Hotaru snapped.

"Don't call me an idiot, twerp!" Michiru yelled.

"Both of you shut the hell up!" Uranus ordered, shoving Michiru to the ground, then Hotaru.

"DEAD SCREAM!" Setsuna cried, the attack blasting Uranus to the ground. All three got back up and started brawling. Suddenly a flash caught their eyes and the four Brights were there.

"STOP FIGHTING!" ordered Iceball. She then had to jump to avoid the Space Sword attack.

"You are not meant to be fighting, Stop it, all of you!"

"Stop interrupting us! We will fight if we want to!"

"Star Heartless, BLASTCANNON!" yelled Star Damage, and threw the bolt. It narrowly missed the Scouts.

"Violence isn't the way to stop this Starbrights!" a quiet voice came from behind a rock. Out stepped a tall, white haired girl with a dog. She wore an orange stone on her tiara, a black collar, skirt, glovebands and boots, also with orange bows. Her eyes were dove white.

"I am Sailor Orion, Sailor Scout of Music. Heavenly Symphony!" The familiar music poured from the Orion Music Orb.

"Now what's the point of arguing, of getting in a fight
Tell me does it really matter who is wrong and who is right
A simple disagreement doesn't have to lead to hate
And it doesn't mean you gotta seal somebody else's fate

"So don't let pride get in the way
Don't let your ego take control
If you want to stand for goodness, got to listen to your soul
Got to turn the other cheek

Got to learn to take a joke
Cause the fighting's never worth watching your life go up in smoke

"So when someone makes you angry and you clench your fists in rage
And you're picturing their face on the obituary page
When you want to smash their face in, cut their heart out with a spoon
You'd better think about it carefully and don't react so soon

"So don't let pride get in the way
Don't let your ego take control
If you want to stand for goodness, got to listen to your soul
Got to turn the other cheek
Got to learn to take a joke
Cause the fighting's never worth watching your life go up in smoke

"If you make every argument a personal crusade
And you launch a one-man war to make sure every hurt's repaid
It's only logic that one day you'll pick a fight with someone new
He'll be bigger, he'll be stronger-- You will end up black and blue

"So don't let pride get in the way
Don't let your ego take control
If you want to stand for goodness, got to listen to your soul
Got to turn the other cheek
Got to learn to take a joke
Cause the fighting's never worth watching your life go up in smoke."

As Sailor Orion sang the grip the monsters spirits had had on the Scouts weakened, and dissipated. The battered Outers were gasping heavily.

"What were we doing?" Hotaru asked.

"I don't know, I had an urge to kill you though!" Haruka exclaimed. "I don't know what came over me!" Orion stepped back behind the rock saying.

"It is not yet time for me to stay, but I will return when it matters…" Sailor Orion, and Centauri vanished.

"You four have to think twice before you kill another monster, when they die they release their essence into their killer. Whoever it is creating these things, he knows what he's doing. Do you guys have any ideas?" Star Destroyer asked.

"No, but we've been thinking. Hotaru, who would do that sort of thing?" Asked Haruka.

"It could be Emperor Taizou, but he was imprisoned. It was usually his forte to create monsters of this sort…

Chapter 5

Nitro Blood knelt before the throne.

"Master, we have nearly discovered the gateway." He told the figure.

"Well done. Indeed, well done. Have you brought me any new presents?" The figure asked.

"Only one. I'll have the androids put it in your garden." Blood said.

"Excellent, but do put more effort into getting more. My servants and I are getting impatient." He gestured towards six cards in a box. "They must be released if you can continue with your job. I do not care about Ruby, bring me one more, even if Ruby is to remain as she is. She has been in the Vortex for a long time, a few more months should make no difference. Be gone."

Nitro Blood nodded, rose, and left to return to his research facility. The shadowed figure walked over to the glass box.

"Soon, my servants, you will be Animated again. We only need one more, and we can awaken the first of you. And then, all will be ours."

"It will?" Asked Hotaru.

"Yeah, this ship will last long after you guys have bought it, just like these other ones. In all there are ten, but these four are the ones that have been preserved the best. But you guys should be warned that these ships have been here for hundreds of years, and are no match for anything that is currently out there." Star Destroyer told her.

"To think that Luek originally brought two hundred fighter ships here by remote control, and only ten are still even functional." Hotaru shook her head. "Still that's better than I hoped."

"Well, let's get in and go." Haruka said, reaching for the ladder.

"The controls are fairly well labelled, so there shouldn't be any trouble with operating it." Hotaru swung herself into one of the ships. "Let’s roll" Michiru and Haruka took a two seater, one for the gunner, Haruka, and Michiru was the pilot. Hotaru and Pluto took separate ones. Hotaru gave them all ten minutes to get accustomed to the controls, and she did a quick revision herself. Then they took off and flew into space. Hotaru sent a transmission to the others.

"O.k, activate the Singularity drives. As I said on the ground, the buttons are marked. When you do a holo-display should pop up, and then you just press the numbers 13-56-2G, then hit the button again. And be sure the compensators are on!" Hotaru did a quick check and then activated the Singularity Drive. Hers was an older model ship with only one S-Drive.

"Next stop, Thieves Market." Haruka whooped. The ships spun and faded into singularity. On the ground, A single monster had been watching their departure.

"Master Blood will be pleased!" The monster then ran off to the closest city, and got one of the 'presents' for Nitro Blood to give to his master. Yes, Nitro Blood would be very pleased.

"Excellent my pet. You have done well to get me this. It is time for you, unnamed one, to be given a name. I hereby bestow upon you." The monster was quivering with nearly unrestrained excitement, he was being rewarded by Master Nitro Blood placed his sword upon the monsters head. "The name of Rainbow Element." Power shocked through the monster from the Chaos Sword. Lights flashed all over. A white light, a pink light, a purple light, a black light, a blue light, a red light, a yellow light, and a crimson light all flashed in sequences and then plunged into the monster.

"With this you have been given the power of all elements, and a human female form. I have modelled you on a Sailor Scout, so you are Sailor Elementos! Ha Ha. You are at the pinnacle of your power, so you are Eternal Sailor Elementos. Take this dagger." He tossed her a dagger. It shimmered disturbingly. "It belonged to the original Sailor Elementos, whom I killed. She used it to transform, so therefore so will you. Say Elementos Dagger Power in the way that those annoying Sailor Scouts do, and you will be transformed. From there, you will know your powers, so I need tell you no more. Please stand beside my throne for a second." The newly Scouted Sailor Elementos stood to his left.

"Thank you. DECEIT!!! GET IN HERE!!!" A wraithlike creature walked into the room.

"Maaaassssssster!" It hissed as it knelt at Bloods feet. "I haaaave no knowledge offffff the Ssssssssailor Sssssssscouts. They appear to haaaaavvvee vvvvanishhhhhed."

"Yes. You have failed." Nitro Blood told it. Deceit quivered.

"I ssssshhhhaaaaaal Not faail you again!" He said.

"I know." A black lightning bolt fired out of Bloods sword, and hit Deceit. Deceit started writhing in agony and terror. He fired off another. Deceit screeched as smoke came off him. He fired off one more, and Deceit stopped screeching. His body went limp, and became visible as his glowing eyes faded.

"Elementos, Deceit has failed. You will not. Androids, clear up this mess." Blood motioned Elementos to leave, but as she headed out he told her. "And you may move out of the monster pen, a new vacancy has just come up in room 305. HA HA HA HA" He laughed.

Elementos walked down the corridor. Her new powers felt rather strange. And she also had a consciousness now, instead of the single thought that had always been running through her mind 'Serve the Master'. That single command was still implanted in her mind, but now she could think for herself. She found her new room.

"This room smells of Deceit." She said to herself quietly. She went about the room throwing all the personal belongings of the former owner into the incinerator. She then requested some androids to have all impurities in the air burnt. When it was finished, the only things in the room were a bed, a dresser, and a slight burning smell. She went to the monster pen and picked out a particularly nasty monster.

"Yes, you'll do." She said. Then a name came to her. Sarah.

"Yes. My human name is now Sarah. My monster, go to the Thieves market and attack the Scouts."

"Yes Mistress!" The monster vanished. After a second of reflection, so did Sarah. She reappeared in the Thieves Market. She brought a credit card out of her pocket.

"Time to buy some more suitable clothes." She walked over to one of the vendors and bought some clothes that fitted in with her surroundings, although her rainbow hair would show up. She covered it with a hood, and put her dagger in one of the pockets her robe had. And she waited. Meanwhile on Earth, Blood received Deceits 'gift' and had the Androids take it to the shadowed man.

"Excellent. The first of my cards shall awake. AWAKE NITRO!! AWAKE NITRO STEELOX!" The card burnt and a man appeared, dressed in a navy blue suit with green spots over the back. He had a beard as facial hair, and it wasn't very long, to the end of his chin. His black eyes were covered by sunglasses. He was built like a bull.

"Greetings master. I am to take on my former identity?" he asked.

"Yes Kai, go to Earth and bring me the one I need. Begone." Kai vanished.

Chapter 6

"Oh man. Luna, did you have to make me do this?!" Serena cried.

"Stop crying Serena. You have to study for your test." Luna said.

"But I was going to go shopping with Mina!" Serena complained.

"And now you're not. Artemis has done the same thing!" Luna informed her.

Serena grumbled as she worked at the problems.

Raye was wandering around town, looking to buy a new dress for a party she, and the others had been invited to. She remembered, for some odd reason, the Nitros, the only ones she had met. They had seemed like real partyers.

"Hey Raye!" a girl called to her. It was someone from her school that she didn't actually know. Raye nodded to her politely. Suddenly she saw it. IT. THE dress. She ran inside and checked the price. It would be a stretch, but she could afford it. It was a beautiful red, flowing dress that left a good part of the back exposed, but was still modest. Raye went to a saleslady and asked to try it on. The lady looked down at her disdainfully.

"I suppose all girls want to play dressup at some time." She scorned. She took it from the display and gave it to the now less-than-pleased Raye. She went into a changeroom and put it on. It was a little big, but would be perfect by the party.

"I'll take it!" Raye said. The saleslady snorted.

"No you won't. How will you afford it?" Raye slammed the money onto the table.

"There, you rude old hag!" Raye snapped. The saleslady and Raye looked daggers at each other. The lady wrapped it up and handed the package to Raye. Raye smirked triumphantly as she left. Then everything blew up. The shop had started out with the standard four walls. Within seconds it had two. Four silver men came through each gap and then another man, one dressed in brown shorts, shirt and a helmet with a pair of horns on it.

"Damn! Mars Crystal POWER!"

The man walked up to the snotty saleswoman and picked her up.

"STOP!! I am Sailor Mars. In the name of the planet Mars, I will punish you!!" Mars yelled. The man ignored her, as did his honour guard.

"Huh?" Mars uttered, confused that the man payed her no heed. A small needle came from one of his fingers, and he plunged it into the woman's arm. A small crystal floated out. Mars recognised it as a Starseed.

"Damn, this is not the one." He said.

"Mars Flame Sniper!!" The attack hit the man. He did not flinch, but for the first time seemed to notice her. He turned slowly.

"Who are you?" He asked slowly, his slow voice frightening Mars a little.

"Uh, I am Sailor Mars, In the name of the planet Mars, I will punish you." She repeated.

"Sailor Mars hmmm? Well then, Sailor Mars, you have made a very big mistake. Arise Pharce." The woman who lost her Starseed got up, completely different. "Attack, Pharce."

"Nitro Saleswoman! Sales PITCH!!" The woman threw a coin through the air. It caught alight and sped to Mars. She dodged but barely. The man watched the battle with interest, but made no effort to help his Pharce. Mars quickly spoke into the communicator.

"Help guys! I'm under attack at the Uruwashii Dress Shop. It's some sort of…" At that point an attack hit Mars's communicator. It sparked and went dead.

"Ha ha ha!!" The Pharce laughed. Suddenly the sound of cards being shuffled filled the air.

"Nitro Star Defender!"

"Nitro Star Destroyer!!"

"Nitro Star Damage!!!"

"We're the Starbrights, Deal 'em!" The Starbrights crashed through the roof.

"Star Heartless BLASTCANNON!!!" The attack flew and slammed into the Pharce. She cried out and fell to the ground. She changed back to human. What happened next was something Mars had never seen. The Starseed that the man was holding disintegrated. The man watched this with interest. When there was nothing left he laughed in his slow way.

"HA HA HA HA!!!! The woman is dead! I'm sure my master would be interested in this."

"You won't make it back to him! Star Rough, Destroyer BLAST!!!"

"Star Joking Shield!" The two attacks slammed into the man. He was blown a step back.

"HA! Pitiful! Now I will show you an attack. Esso Stainless BEAM!!" A silver beam lanced out of his arm. It hit Mars dead on.

"Orion MiniSphere Detonation!" The attack hit the man. It blew him across the room. He got up in rage. Sailor Orion helped Mars up.

"You are a scar on the face of this planet. Get out of here now, or I'll use my Minispheres at full power." Sailor Orion ordered.

"I don't think so. No! In fact, I think I may just annihilate you. I was holding back too. I will now use my full power. STEELBULL STAINLESS BEAM!!" The beam lanced out again, this time thicker and brighter with Sailor Orion as the target. She jumped to dodge it, and the man kept firing. Orion leapt again, but tripped on a piece of debris. She fell and was hit by the next beam, which made her slide into the wall. She groaned, and passed out.

"I am the sailor-suited pretty soldier Sailor Moon! In the name of the moon, I will punish you!" The rest of the Sailor Scouts ran in and prepared to help. The man, noticing that the odds had tipped, said "I will take my leave. But beware, you will be hearing the name Steel Bull again." He vanished. He vanished.  The Starbrights walked up to Sailor Moon.

"What happened to that girl?"  Asked Serena.

"She is dead.  We killed her to save your lives.  I am Nitro Stardestroyer.  That is our princess, Nitro Iceball, that is Nitro Stardamage and that is Nitro Stardefender."  He said.

"She didn't have to die.  We have returned Starseeds to people before y'know."  Raye snapped.

"It is done now, it cannot be undone."  Iceball said.  "We will leave now, but we will help you whenever you are in trouble.  Goodbye."  They jumped up and vanished.

"Strange people, these Nitros."  Mina stated.

Chapter 7

"AARRRGGGGHHHHH!!"  Kahriss stamped his foot.  "Where the HELL did I put the keys to this thing!"  He was searching for the keys to his ship.  "I put them down for ten seconds when we hire a hotel room, then they go missing!  And this when we have to take off and make the rest of the trip to the Thieves Market!"  He checked under the bed again.  All the three hours that he'd been searching, not once had he looked on the dresser, by the door, where it was in the most obvious spot in the room.

"I am SO!  Going to negotiate my Nitro Contract!"  Kahriss complained.  Jenkins called to him.

"Found the keys!  They’re beside the door!"

"Good!  Let’s go before… ARGH!"  Kahriss fell to one knee, as images flooded into his mind…

One Hundrew Twentyseven Lifetimes ago…

The smoke and dust were beginning to thin out.  Through the smoke walked two figures.  Both were roughly the same height and build, one carried a battleaxe, the other held a rope that was being flicked forwards and backwards.  Then all of a sudden the smoke was gone and the Soldiers of Mech were there.

"FIRE AT THEM!!"  The remaining armies launched into full attack.  Nicole and Luek nodded at each other, then lept apart as the first volley of bullets reached them.  Luek charged at the armies as did Nicole.  The attacking army was split in two as they desperately tried to hold off the two enraged warriors.  Nicole formed a loop in the rope and she flicked it around necks, then tightened it as the surging power severed the head of the victim, the whole process taking less than a seccond to complete.  Luek twirled and spun, slicing open or apart the soldiers.  The combined battle roars of the two Soldiers terrified many of the army members into fleeing.  Not a single one of them escaped.  In the end, there were five people left.  Nitro Mech.  Sailor Mech.  And three scared recruits.  Luek walked up to the recruits, as the Axe shimmered out of existance.

"Hmmm.  Tell me, why were you attacking us?"  Asked Luek.

"We were just under orders to attack this place, we didn’t know anyone like you two would be here."  The lead one said.

"Indeed?  I knew you would be here.  Innoruuk prophesised it, and The Coin confirmed it.  You are Kahriss.  You have great potential.  Therefore, I have a one time offer for you and your crew.  A position has arised in our ranks.  Should you accept, you will become Nitro Demonicus, the Nitro with the power over the Demons of The Nine Pits.  The other two, Jenkins and Hobbes, will become subunits of yourself.  Both with power to transform, but with powers restricted to the Fourth Pit.  In times of crisis however, the three of you can and will merge, to become Lord of the Tenth Pit.  That is the most powerful form that you will ever be able to attain."  Luek informed him.  "Will you take this position?  I will warn you now howver, your refusal of this position will result in your very permanent death."

"Luek!  What are you doing!?  Giving a Nitro power over the Nine Pits?  Have you gone insane?!"  Nicole burst.  "That is power enough to rival Sailor Moon’s.  Nobody should have that power!"

"Be quiet!  It is a Nitro’s job to protect the universe, and if that means being more powerful than that weakling  Sailor Moon, so be it!"  Luek snapped.

Kahriss took a deep breath.

"Well, it looks as though you don’t leave me much choice do you?  Do we accept?"  The unanimous answer of yes followed.  "Then I guess we accept then, sir.  What now?"  A horn appeared in Luek’s hand.

"Your acceptance of this proposal has only one problem.  It can never be undone.  And because of that, and your command of the Pits, you must suffer eternal pain in your service.  I am sorry."  Luek plunged the horn into his chest.  As the searing pain ripped into him…

Kahriss suddenly realised what was going on.  He was gasping heavily, and clutching at his chest.  The other two were helping him up.

"If he’d have mentioned the pain beforehand, I wonder if I’d have turned him down."  He groaned.  He noticed that he had begun to ignore the pain after his centuries of pain.  That flashback had reawakened it.

"Probably not."  He got up, grabbed the keys, and left.

Hotaru and the others cruised the stalls of the Thieves Market.  From a few stalls away, Sarah watched carefully, staying out of sight.  The Thieves Market closed soon, and while people were allowed to stay after hours, most didn’t as nothing was open.  They likely didn’t know that.  She checked her watch.  Only five minutes to go.

Suddenly they were alone.  The Senshi looked around, seeing the stalls packing up and the people flooding out of the chamber.

"I don’t like this!"  Seiya said in a low voice.  Suddenly, two andriods appeared with a silver flash.

"Targets aquired!"

"WATCH OUT!!"  Hotaru cried.  The two Androids unfolded the twin lasers from each arm, then started firing.  Quickly Hotaru rolled out of the way, and The Starlights quickly jumped to the side, as did the Outers.

"TRANSFORM!!"  Hotaru yelled.  The groups transformed.

"We can’t rely on the Starbrights, we’re not on Earth!"  Michiru reminded.

"We can beat these guys!"  Haruka boasted.  The first android foccused his attention on the Outers, the seccond android firing at the Starlights.  It was a mad dance, everyone jumping, ducking, weaving to avoid the blasts.  Nobody noticed the smallish girl sneaking up behind the androids.

                "WORLD SHAKING!"

                "DEEP SUBMERGE!"

The twin attacks rolled towards the android that was firing on the Outers.  They fused into a ball and slammed into the android, sprwaling it onto the ground.  It quickly got up, fired, and Setsuna went down like a sack of bricks.

"Keep fighting!  It just got my leg!"  She called.

The android continued strafing them with fire.  The Starlights were faring a bit better.  Their android had apparently been broken during the course of the three’s attacks, and it was moving slower, and only one laser was firing.

"This thing is strong!  We’ve been launching our attacks on it, and all it’s done is slow it down!  Star Gentle Uterus!"  The attack struck the android, and it burst into flames, reducing to a melted pile of slag.  "YES!"  The starlights then turned their concentration to the other android.  This one was still fully operative, even after the various attacks had hit it.  Sailor Star Healer was just about to attack when the android’s head exploded.  Behind it the small girl was standing with a blaster still smoking.

"Wanna explain why you guys are here?"  She asked.  "I’m Sarah."

Chapter 8

"Hey what’s with the guy in the Dress Shop?"  Serena asked.  The Inners had gathered at Rayes place to discuss the problem at hand.

"I don’t know!  He called himself a Nitro.  That and he didn’t even notice one of my attacks."  Raye snapped.  "I wouldn’t have gotten out of there alive without Sailor Orion and you guys arriving."

"Well, that doesn’t explain much.  Why would a Nitro attack us?"  Amy asked.  "And he was searching for Starseeds too.  It makes no sense!"

"I think we can say that about Nitros on a whole though."  Mina cracked.  Nobody laughed with her.  They all knew that Nitro Venus had given his life to save them against Dodrite. And then there was a long silence, as the Inners looked to one each other, each wondering about that one mysterious Nitro, but mostly ceretain Nitros that they had met in gerenal.

"Maybe we could ASK a Nitro?"  Serena broke the silence.

"Do you seriously think we could find one?  The Inner Nitros, so to speak, have died, and the Starbrights only show up when we need help.  So how will we find one Serena?"  Raye demanded.

"Ohhhhh, you’re SO mean Raye!"  Serena pouted, the pair of them turning away from each other and folding their arms.

The temple door knocked, and Darien walked in.  He was promptly bowled over by an excited Serena.

"Hey meatball head!  Watch it!"  Darien laughed, pushing the excited girl off of him.  Serena got up and danced around like a mad thing until she tripped on her own foot.  Darien helped her up and said.  "Are you ready for dinner?"  Serena froze.

"Ahhhh!  I totally forgot!  Quick, we’ve gotta go home so I can get changed."  She dragged poor Darien protesting out the door.  In the ensuing silence that followed, the girls shifted uncomfortably.  Not one of them knew what to say.

"Wouldn’t it be easier if the Nitros had cell phones?"  Lita said.  Just then, a loud scream was heard, and then a  following one.  The girls rushed out, to see Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask both passed out on the ground.  Over them, the man from the Dress Shop.

"Nitro Steel Bull."  Raye cursed.  "MARS CRYSTAL POWER!!"

                "JUPITER CRYSTAL POWER!!"

                "MERCURY CRYSTAL POWER!!"

                "VENUS CRYSTAL POWER!!"

The senshi prepared for the battle.
