Towards the end of August 2000, after 8 weeks of learning I was starting to get the hang of textures and light. As before I painted the distant trees first, working my way "forward". The production of paintings like this prompted NHS Surrey Oaklands Trust to request the painting of a mural. Update 24 May 04 :- The 7` 5" X 6" board for the project has now been made, sealed and undercoated. The completed landscape mural will hopefully find appropriate wall space within Surrey Oaklands NHS Trust premises. |
