The offset darkness of the foreground tree brings the elements of differently sourced light together.

It interests me to acheive painting a moonlit sky such is represented in this photograph, but directly from life.

Painting this would minimally require; coerulium blue, paynes grey, raw umber; cadmium orange, white, possibly yellow ochre and a flask of hot soup.
