At the beginning of October 2003 a friend (Dave Stone) had built me a recycled Pentium grade PC out of some "hard ware" that I had recovered from skips. Photoshop 7 had been installed. I had amassed about 1500 .jpg images on photo CD`s in the previous year

The first couple of days were spent getting my head around compound digital image making using any image at hand.This exploratory process resulted in a collage of three photos thus:- altered, cut out (or cut into) and pasted into interesting patterns.

Dean Wheeler (featured holding the mackerel) really liked it. His mum does too.
