# Text file for ScrollItUp
#
#
The ScrollItUp applet

Scrolls the text upwards, in an almost vertical motion.

Links can be inserted at any point in the text, e.g. |check out the comments,../../brief/briefcomments.html,content| at this site.

You can add as many links as you like, wherever you like: |Comments,../../brief/briefcomments.html,content|, |comments,../../brief/briefcomments.html,content|, |comments,../../brief/briefcomments.html,content|, |comments,../../brief/briefcomments.html,content|, |comments,../../brief/briefcomments.html,content|, |comments,../../brief/briefcomments.html,content| |comments,../../brief/briefcomments.html,content|.

You can pause the text at any point using the button on the interface. You can also use the forwardwind and rewind buttons to gain full control over the scrolling.

Text continually scrolls in a loop.

Incorporates word wrapping so you don't need to worry about positioning your text in the script file. Applet automatically fits the size you specify the applet to be.

NOTE: words incorporated in a link are not wrapped accross more than one line. This means that a link cannot be greater than the screen width. e.g. |This link goes off the edge of the screen as it's too big,../../applets/scrollitup.html,_blank|!

Configurable font style, color and size, including separate font color when hovering over text linked to a URL. Configurable scroll speed, horizontal margin, applet background, text screen, and outline colors.

Applet uses no image files, buttons are drawing routines within the Java code. Reads script from a text file, easier than using HTML applet parameters. Text file layout in an easy to read or write format.
