Jordan always wanted to do a solo album, although before New Kids breaking. When the group took a rest in 1992 Jordan began to work by himself, but his fellas convinced him to do a last NKOTB album. Many of Jordanīs solo album songs were included in Face The Music. So when Jordan started again with his solo album had to do it from zero. The New Kids breaking was in 1994 and in 1995 Jordan was already with Interescope Records for his new carrer. This record company gave him absolute freedom for the time he will spent on the album, style and collaborators. So Jordan began to produce songs with Robin Thicke, but without any hurry.

Jordan decided that he wanted to work with Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, producers of Prince, Janet Jackson and more. The two producers agreed, but they had lot of work, so Jordan had to wait `till the 98 spring to work with them. In this time Jordan wanted to prove if he really had quality as a singer. And he began to play the piano and sing in a hotel near his apartment, without using his name. He used to sing Elton Johnīs songs for an older public and the truth is that he had enough success. Some audience said him: you do it very well, you should work in the show business. And of course he did it. The colaboration with Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis was very good and Jordanīs album was ready to be released in January 99. And his first single "Different Party" will be ready for radio stations before Christmas. But after that Jordanīs problems started. Interescope Records suffered a restructuring and they had to leave many artists, between them Jordan with his album ready to go out. Then Jordan and Miguel Melendez (his manager) flew to Miami and left a copy of the album to a DJ of the WPOW radio station. The DJ liked "Give it to you" and he began to play it for the radio audience. Just in a few days Give it to you was one of the most solicited songs on this radio station. In February 99 Jordan began to receive record companies offers. But Jordan decided to come back with Interescope Records. In March he released his first single "Give it to you" over all America. And the album, "Jordan Knight," was released at the end of May of the same year. After that Jordan began with the promotion over USA and several european and Asian countries. That summer Jordan was touring with *NSYNC at Boys of Summer Tour over all USA. In the fall he started again with the promotion of the album. But the album wasnīt realised in all countries, Spain was one of them. Interescope Records decided that Jordanīs album music style won't be successful here although 40 Principales radio station (one of the biggest music radio stations in Spain) didn't stop to let sound Jordanīs album for us. Finally the biggest musics shops had to import the album because of the great demand. Give it to you was one of the best sellers singles in the United States. Also Jordan received a MTV Award for "I could never take the place of your man," remix as the best dance song, and a Boston Music Award to the best single of the year for "Give it to you".

Since then Jordan has worked hard to get his second solo album. He worked again with producers Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis. But when he left Interescope Records he lost the rights of these songs. So he's been fighting since then for those rights. Some of these songs even arrived to radio stations. An example of this is "Like that" and "Tender love". "Tender love's" single was even on sale at his website.

While he was solving all these problems Jordan released New Kids On The Block The Remix Album. He started then doing shows across the States with NKOTB songs and some of his new ones. Thanks to the fans who sent the single to the radio and the hard work they did to press the media Jordan also traveled to Spain to perform in 2004. After his visit to Spain Jordan came in the house of the Surreal Life. This TV program gave him quite popularity at the States.

While he keept on touring the USA he released his second solo album (an EP) called The Fix. Things started to change at Jordan's career and he recorded a duet with Deborah Gibson called Say Goodbye. It was included at Jordan's new album: Love Songs. All the tracks were covers from Jordan's favourite love songs of all times. It was presented in August 2006 in NYC and was the beggining of a new tour. Since then Jordan keept on doing some live shows and now he's totally involved with the NKOTB reunion.
