WHY I JOINED CADETS
"I joined the Navy League Cadets because I thought it would be a great opourtunity to learn and explore.
I think being a cadet is an honour.
I would like to learn how to steer a ship, and shoot the guns, and how to tell time on a ship.
I would like to go sailing on a battle ship, have dances, and play sports."

"I joined Navy League Cadets because I was in figure skating, and wanted to try something new. Here are some of the reasons I joined Navy League Cadets:
1. To be at sea,
2. To meet new people,
3. To go on trips,
4. To learn something new,
5. And most of all
HAVE FUN.
Those are only a few of the reasons I joined cadets!

I want to learn new things, not just spelling and math!! A kid nees more in life than spelling and math, right? If you were our age you would probably understand better. Just think how boring school is sometimes for kids ages 10-12. What would you think of school. Forget about math, bring on the ships!!! Thank you!"
