Twigmore, a small township of Manton parish, 5 miles W. by S. of Brigg, has only 25 inhabitants, and 1300 acres of land, all the property of Sir John Nelthorpe, the lord of the manor, and in five farms, occupied by John Hill, John Holt, Wm. Kirk, Edward Newham, and Wm. Richardson.
