The Music Room . . .
Ready to open gifts?
Miss Leg and Sigurd have brought a new Blotting Book and desk set.

Bibelot brought a beautiful little Limoge box containing two bottles of vino (after considering a Tilling Pig).

Isabel Poppit, who sent her regrets, provided a basket of goodies for the making of a Red Currant Fool.

The share Siriami brought along a complete set of Mr. Benson's books to share with those who are missing some titles.
Sophie Alingsby brought a china mustache cup.

Petling Tent:  Dear Listini,  Please make sure to get your lovely pets over to the Petling Tent as Taffy is serving his World Class Bananas Foster.  It is definitely a no-miss affair.  There will be creme for any kitties that would like to have some on the top of theirs.  Georgie and Taffy

Also served in the Petling Tent: Pear Flan, Shrimp St. Tropez, and La Gatta's offering of Salmon Mousse with Dill Sauce, as well as a birthday cake, as shown here.

Pets attending this celebration included:   Georgie's and Mapp's dog Sam, who played host as Benson's dog Taffy.   Nunky Cartwright's two bull dogs, Lucy and Henry.   Signor Cortese's two Siamese cats, Isis and Aphrodite.   Siriami's cat Pickles, the moggie.   La Gatta herself and her six cats, Tommy, Marvin, Maudie, Misty, Pixel, and Polly Ann.    Kitchen Table's three cats, Mitford, Mickey, and Mabel sent their regrets at not being able to attend.
Comments from Chat Room participants:    SIRIAMI  ([Scotland] who feels he's now travelled the world): Georgie and Mapp were there all the way from Houston, as was Nunky, from the cosmopolitan city of New York.  Later we were joined by Gus from Maine...and dear Withers from Barcelona scriggled in...  Signor Cortese from Vancouver took time out from his busy composing schedule to chat too.  I'm sure Fred was beaming down on us all as we celebrated his birthday with cyber drinks and delicisio grub too!    WITHERS: It was remarkable...there were about three or four levels of conversation going on at the same time.  Surreal and Daliesque...  The globe was represented.  Let all Listinos know there is a remarkable group of fine and gentle and scholarly and, yes, this can be admitted, hilarious people on this list.  Hats off to you, everyone.    GEORGIE: ...had the most wonderful time he can remember...likes to be what is referred to as a Chatty Cathy.  He just can't keep still when conversations are buzzing about.    NUNKY, who just loves a party: What a good time it was, and so festive -- good moods all around and new friends to be had.  Let's do it again!     GUS:   I enjoyed my first group chat, and it was nothing my mother warned me about (not that Edna has been in chat rooms, but she heard about the goings-on in such modern day dens of iniquity!!).  I enjoyed learning the shortcuts...
