Special
Memories

A
year has passed
And
finally, I can see your face as I remember;
Not
one of sickness
But
one of love, kindness, and comfort.
As I
look back upon our memories
My
eyes still well with tears
Because you are not here to share in new memories
But I
can now smile
Because
you are indeed still here
In
our hearts and in the smiling faces of
Your
Grandchildren.
Poem
By
Bob McHardy

This poem was written by Bob Mchardy one year
after the
passing of his wife Shirley McHardy .
Two years after her passing he joined her. Bob
was a retired High School teacher loved and
respected by former students and the
community. Shirley worked for a local doctor
and was active in Politics serving as Reeve of
Ridgetown
and as the First Female Warden of Kent County.
Their proudest moments were ones with
their
family. Their children being one of
their
greatest accomplishments!
