In the Nordic Canine Club
for cyber dogs we follow Skandinavian guidelines and ways!
We use the Skandinavian grouping which is similar to the one of
FCI (Fédération Cynologie Internationale) - the international
kennel club.
As for breeds there are a few which are recognized by the
Skandinavian countries' kennel clubs, but not yet by the FCI.
Those exceptions are also included in the NCC.
We follow FCI standards or the local Skandinavian ones if the
specific breed is one of those not FCI recognized.
In Skandinavia docking of ears and tails is not allowed in most
breeds. In NCC it is not allowed whatsoever because we think it
is mutilation of innocent animals.
Imports are dogs coming from cyber dog clubs outside NCC.
Members can only have one
kennel each.
The kennel name you choose can not be changed unless you have a
really good reason. Abreviations are not valid.
The kennel name is placed in front of the puppy's actual name.
Two kennels can not go by the same name.
A dog can only carry its breeder's kennel name - adding your own
kennel name is not valid.
In order to be able to
register a dog's offspring with the NCC it must be NCC registered
itself and have recieved an NCC breeding permit. This is gained
by showing the dog either in the NCC All Breed Show or in a group
club show.
In special cases a dog, who is not NCC registered, can get
dispensation to be used to breed with an NCC registerd dog, and
have its offspring registered in the NCC.
Be sure to get the dispensation BEFORE you make the litter.
We do not allow inbreeding or dogs of mixed breeds.
If you need a male for your female and don't own one yourself -
or if it hasn't achieved its breeding permit - you are most of
the time welcome to use other kennels' males. To use a stud make
sure that it has achieved its NCC breeding permit and that you
have the owner's permission to use him. The litter is not
official until you have this permission and may not be advertised
before the agreement.
When a dog reaches 100 points in any show, the dog will
automatically become retired.
This means that the dog can no longer be entered into shows, and
it can no longer breed.
We don't sell/buy dogs in
NCC - we adopt. There's no money involved. You can adopt dogs
from other kennels and you can adopt out the puppies you breed to
other kennels.
Be respective of each kennel's adoption rules. You make your own
adoption rules just remember that in NCC a dog can only have one
owner.
By showing in group club
shows your dog can win the title Gr.Ch.
By showing in breed club shows your dog can win the title Br.Ch.
By showing in the NCC All Breed Show your dog can win the title
NCC Ch.
All show titles are written in front of the dog's name.
Additional (other event) titles are written after the dog's name.
The NCC recognizes titles won outside NCC.
You can be a member of any other cyber dog club you want, and also show your dogs there, only when you are dealing with the NCC, our rules apply !
