History :

Born and raised in Burnaby, British Columbia Canada, Jon was always told that he would never been anything, which explains his brooding nature and sharp tongue. He always tried to impress his parents by doing well in school, but it never worked. On his last day of high school, Jonathan was involved in brawl, and as luck would have it, was spotted by an agent for a minor local wrestling federation. He became involved in wrestling, and finally moved away from his parents. After living alone for over a year, a friend of Jon's told him that he had the opportunity to attend a one-week course at CDIS, one of the most prestigious tech schools in Canada. The catch, however, was he had to take in a student from a school in Lavington. Several months after that, while watching satellite TV, Jonathan saw the kid (Chris Anderson) that he took in for the CDIS event on MITV, talking with Mitchell and Jack Cross, one of Laslow¡¯s idles. Seeing this reminded him of his work in the local fed, and how things had been slacking off on the management end.

Deciding to take a chance on it, Laslow flew to Whitehorse, where Chris was able to secure him a position in the IWA, with Chris himself as Jon¡¯s manager. Laslow lost his first match, which was a Battle Royal-style fight (October 2002), but in his second-ever pro wrestling fight walked away with half of the IWA¡¯s Key West Tag Title, having won it with Apathy, his stable mate turned tag partner. The pair held the titles until early December (2002), when Apathy decided to leave the Axis to form his own stable. Loki, a fellow Axis member and also a relative newcomer to the federation, then paired up with Jon until the CAL year-end Pay Per View, ¡°Reindeer Games II: A New Years Revolution¡± (the Axis fighting on the side of the rebel group ¡°NaTPW¡±). Laslow won his match, a sixteen-man elimination match by pinning Apathy. Loki won his match, too, in which he and Jack Cross one the CAL World Tag Titles from the Rock Brothers. Due to CAL rules, though, Loki was no longer allowed to be on Laslow¡¯s tag team, which left Jon with no partner.

Jon¡¯s win at RDG II did have it¡¯s rewards, the main being he was given a shot at the IWA¡¯s South Atlantic Title, which was held by Brandon Pride. Unfortunately, Laslow was not able to overcome Pride, and lost the fight. After that match, Laslow wasn¡¯t booked for two shows, which left him in the dark as to his situation regarding the tag titles, and even his career. After arguing with Dawn, the IWA¡¯s Commissioner, over what was to be done with the titles, Laslow was forced in to a two-tag-teams-on-himself title defence match, which he lost. Following that show, he fought Fudge, a long time rival of Jack Cross, and was able to beat him.

The next event was the IWA¡¯s first PPV of the year, Ground Zero. Again Jon was involved in an elimination match, and like the last time, he prevailed, but this time over Fudge. His prize for winning was the Tropical Sun title, but it was too little, too late.

Deciding that the way the Key West title situation was handled was inexcusable, Laslow decided to quit the IWA, along with Loki, to join the CSWA.

Unfortunately, Jonathan¡¯s stint in the CSWA didn¡¯t last long.  After two wins, his career took a nose-dive, and after what turned out to be his final match in the fed, Laslow was attacked by The Darkness, his now-former stable that was partly comprised out of former Axis members.  After that night, Laslow disappeared from the pubic eye.

Gimmick :

Laslow will do anything to win, which includes cheating (help fromhis manager, interferences from by other Axis members, etc¡¦). He will also interfere in his stable mate¡¯s matches to help get them the win. This is almost completely the opposite of how Laslow acts outside the arena.

Manager :
Sam ¡°Jack of all Trades¡± Rowen

Manager Bio : Not much is know of Sam, except that if there was a bad business venture out there, Sam was involved in it.  From ¡®Sam Air¡¯ (it never really took off), to ¡®Happy Cadavers Funeral Home¡¯, to ¡®Sam¡¯s Law Office and Bakery¡¯.  Recently he started managing small-time wrestlers, and just happened to be around when Laslow was accepted into NPW.
