When Northern Pro Wrestling became National Pro Wrestling at "The Stand '03 : Turf War" on 05.18.03, the title was renamed the National Pro Wrestling Television championship. Joseph Rose defeated Curt Catastrophe to become the first-ever National Pro Wrestling Television champion.National Pro Wrestling officially recognized this title as spawning from the lineage of the Northern Pro Wrestling Television championship. 34) MEGAERA, "THE FURY". As all the NPW championships were on the line in "The Match Beyond" at "November Pain '03 : Game On!", Direwolf became Television champion when he pinned Jeff Wheeldon during the match. 38] JONATHAN LASLOW. On February 14th, at Calgary "Winterfest", Direwolf vacated the Television championship. Laslow def.
