Defeated Uke Reign and a subbing Brock Slater on 08/03/01. Stripped of titles on 08/14/01 for failure to defend. 3) THE DEMONSTONE CLAN. Defeated seven other teams to fill the vacant titles on 09/07/01, at the "No Holds Barred" PPV. 4) THE UNTOUCHABLES (Astroth / Killingbeck). Defeated Gregor Demonstone and a subbing Brimstone for the titles at the "Unleashed" PPV on 10/12/01. 5) BISCUITS (Direwolf / Z). Defeated The Untouchables at the November Pain PPV on 11.09.01. Titles vacated on 11.23.01, when Biscuits and The Untouchables were involved in a double-pin ending. 6) THE UNTOUCHABLES (Astroth / Fantastico). Won the Tag Team titles in The Match Beyond at the "NPW Reindeer Games" PPV on 12.07.01. Astroth pinned Louie Z, and Fantastico pinned Ashley Hendricks. 7) THE UNTOUCHABLES (Astroth / Fantastico / Killingbeck). As the result of a match on 01.04.02, TJ Killingbeck also became a tag team champion, able to defend the straps. In the match, both Fantastico and Killingbeck pinned Astroth to make this occur. 8) BISCUITS (Direwolf/Z). Def. The Untouchables (Astroth/ Killingbeck) at Flashpoint! on 01.09.02. 9) THE UNTOUCHABLES (Fantastico / Astroth / Killingbeck). Def. Biscuits at Friday Night Firefight on 01.25.02 when Killingbeck and Astroth won the match. 10) THINK TANK TURNER and LONNY BASH. Def. The Untouchables (Killingbeck/Astroth) aat Friday Night Firefight on 02.22.02 in a Hardcore Handicap Match that also included Biscuits. 11) LONNY BASH and LOUIE Z. Due to a title abdication by Think Tank Turner on 04.05.02 at Friday Night Firefight, CAL Special Investigator Sam Carnage allowed Lonny Bash to name a new partner. He chose Louie Z. Shortly thereafter, the team slected the name "Extreme, Inc." as their tag team name. 12) BROCK SLATER and MARTY SUGAR. Def. Extreme Incorporated on Friday Night Firefight on 05.10.02. 13) DIREWOLF and TIMMY FANTASTICO. Def. Marty Sugar and Brock Slater on Friday Night Firefight on 05.17.02 following a "lethal lottery" tag team mini-tournament. 14) THE ROCK BROTHERS. Def. Fantastico and Direwolf on Friday Night Firefight on 06.07.02. 15) EXTREME INCORPORATED.. Def. The Rock Brothers on Friday Night Firefight on 07.12.02. 16) THE ROCK BROTHERS. Def. Extreme Incorporated on Friday Night Firefight on 08.09.02. Vacated the titles on 09.30.02 upon winning the Coalition of Affiliated Leagues World Tag Team titles. 17) ASSAULT & BATTERY. Won a five-team "Mystery Event" at Flashpoint! to fill the vacant titles on 10.19.02, when Darlock retrieved both titles from a wire above the ring. 18) MARTY SUGAR and CALVIN ASTROTH. Won the titles from Assault & Battery in "The Match Beyond" on 11/03/02, when Marty Sugar pinned Darlock and Calvin Astroth pinned Alan Kalord. 19) THE UNTOUCHABLES (Astroth / Fantastico). As a result of Marty Sugar's abdication of the title to Timmy Fantastico following a tainted victory over "High Excitement" Ric Owens and Fantastico, the Untouchables became NPW Tag Team champions at Friday Night Firefight on 11/16/02. However, as Astroth and Fantastico subsequently quit NPW, President Think Tank Turner declared the titles vacant a moment later. 20) "HIGH EXCITEMENT" RIC OWENS and "THE MASKED HERO". Def. Timmy Fantastico and Calvin Astroth on Friday Night Firefight on 11/16/02, in a match to decide the winners of the titles vacated moments before. In the match, "The Masked HERO" role was played by Barnala "The Scalper", Lonny "Boom-Boom" Bash, The Pimply-Faced Kid and an unidentified masked man. On 12.13/02, Owens was stripped of the titles by President Think Tank Turner for failure to defend them, even though he had not been booked to do so and there were still three days remaining. 21) THE WRECKING CREW (McNulty / Edwards). Def. The Rock Machine and Xavier & Ron Havok in a three-way tag team TLC match at Friday Night Firefight on 02/07/03. 22) THE ROCK MACHINE (Bash / Darwin). Def. Keith Edwards and Ron Havok on the 05.04.03 edition of "Firefight". Havok was attempting to become a champion under the "Untouchables Rule" by defending the title for Jaime McNulty. On 05.18.03, at "The Stand '03 : Turf War", the titles were renamed the National Pro Wrestling Tag Team titles. NPW recognized these titles as the extension of the Northern Pro Wrestling Tag Team championship, and recognized that lineage. Darwin later changed his name to Freddie "Wild Eyes" Stankowski. 23) AS-FLARE (Calvin Astroth and Flare). Defeated The Rock Machine on Sunday Night Firefight on 09.14.03 in a three-way match that also included Timmy Fantastico and Louie Z. 24) AS-WOLF (Calvin Astroth and Direwolf) / FLARE and TJ KILLINGBECK. Calvin Astroth and Flare defended the titles in a WPN Rules "Tag Team Scramble" where all wrestlers could change partners during the match at will on "Firefight", 11.23.03. Calvin Astroth and Direwolf were partners at the end of the match, as were TJ Killingbeck and Flare. As the result of a double pin, both teams were recognized as champions. 25) AS-WOLF (Calvin Astroth and Direwolf). At "November Pain '03 : Game On!", Calvin Astroth def. Flare via pinfall in a Lumberjack Match to determine whether As-Wolf or Flare and TJ Killingbeck would become the NPW Tag Team champions. TJ Killingbeck and Direwolf acted as lumberjacks in that match. Since NPW President Sam Carnage had declared that the titles would be renamed the NPW World Tag Team titles in "The Match Beyond" on that show, Astroth and Direwolf wer recognized as the last-ever NPW Tag Team champions. 26) THE UNTOUCHABLES (Killingbeck / Astroth). As the NPW World Tag Team titles were up for grabs in "The Match Beyond" at "November Pain '03 : Game On!" on 11.30.03, TJ Killingbeck pinned Direwolf to win both belts and the right to name his partner. After the show, Killingbeck named Calvin Astroth as his partner. Killingbeck and Astroth were recognized as the first-ever NPW World Tag Team champions. 27) THE ROCK BROTHERS. Def. The Untouchables on 04.27.04 on "FLASHPOINT!" via pinfall. Timmy Fantastico was standing in for TJ Killingbeck after invoking "the Untouchables Rule" that allowed a three-man team to be recognized as champions if the title was successfully defended by the third man. 28] THE AXIS (Jonathan Laslow & Jeff Wheeldon).
