Defeated Think Tank Turner on 10/12/01 at the "Unleashed" PPV. 3) "HIGH EXCITEMENT" RIC OWENS. Defeated Brock Slater in The Match Beyond at the "NPW Reindeer Games" PPV on 12.07.01. 4) DIREWOLF. Defeated Ric Owens in a 60-Minute Iron Man Match on "Friday Night Firefight", on 03.01.02 5) "THINK TANK" TURNER. Def. Direwolf at "The Stand" pay-per-view on 04.19.02. 6) DIREWOLF. Defeated Think Tank Turner on Friday Night Firefight at "Firefight" on 15.05.02 . 7) CALVIN ASTROTH. Defeated Direwolf at "The Commissioner's Invitational" PPV on 09.07.02. 8) ROB BRIMSTONE. Defeated Calvin Astroth at "November Pain" in "The Match Beyond" on 11.03.02 to win the title. While the title was initially held up by Commissioner Angelina Bishop for a two-week period prior to "The Stand '03 : Turf War", Rob Brimstone's title reign was recognized in full after winning that event. At that PPV on 05.18.03, when Northern Pro Wrestling became National Pro Wrestling, the title was renamed. Brimstone defeated Jaime McNulty at "The Stand '03 : Turf War" to become the first National Pro Wrestling champion on 05.18.03. National Pro Wrestling recognized the lineage of the Northern Pro Wrestling championship, and recognized the National Pro Wrestling championship as the extension of the Northern Pro Wrestling championship. 9) JAIME "THE GIFT" McNULTY. Def. Rob Brimstone on "Sunday Night Firefight" on 08.10.03 in a Hell In A Cell match, via pinfall. 10) AMALIE. Def. Keith Edwards via pinfall at "The Commissioner's Invitational" on 10.22.03 to fill the vacant title. The title had become vacant moments before, when NPW champion Jaime McNulty failed to appear at the event. At "November Pain '03 : Game On!" on 11.30.03, the NPW championship renamed the NPW World championship and was placed on the line in "The Match Beyond". Amalie became the last recognized NPW champion. 11) TIMMY FANTASTICO. At "November Pain '03 : Game On!" on 11.30.03, Timmy Fantastico won the National Pro Wrestling World championship in "The Match Beyond" by pinning Keith Edwards. Fantastico was recognized as the first-ever NPW World champion. 12) KEITH EDWARDS. Def. Timmy Fantastico on "Sunday Night Firefight" on 02.22.04 via pinfall. Edwards, the National Heritage champion, had also won the Canadiana championship from Calvin Astroth earlier in the evening, and on 02.23.04 - the day after Firefight - National Pro Wrestling declared the Canadiana and National Heritage titles vacant. 13) FLARE.
