How to do “Picture Study”
- Get several prints by the same artist,
- Show one print per week/two weeks/month
- Let the students discover things
- Narrate the picture: __________________, _______________, ______________
- Biography of artist
- Gently introduce artistic terminology
Go to museums or art exhibits
- Find “your” picture
- Don’t feel compelled to see it all.
