Capsule: Alicia is a slender beauty with wavy dark brown hair, sparkling amethyst eyes, and soft, pale skin. Born into one of the ruling houses of Kuat, Alicia was exiled along with hundreds of other supporters of the New Republic by the loyalists in power. In exile, she attended the New Republic Fleet Academy and graduated with honors at the age of sixteen. Alicia showed herself to be a brilliant tactician and a charismatic leader, and in the following two years, her flawless record led to an impressive rise through the ranks, and by the time she was eighteen, Alicia was the ranking Admiral of the Fleet.

Soon afterwards, an interesting turn of events put Alicia's life on a completely different course. Following charges of abusing power, Chief of State Mitchell Bueller resigned from office and nominated Alicia as his successor. The Senate agreed with his decision, and at the age of eighteen, Alicia became the youngest Chief of State in the history of the New Republic.

From an early age, Alicia had demonstrated great sensitivity to the Force. In fact, prior to her election to the office of Chief of State, Alicia was conferred the rank of Jedi Knight by her mentor, the Jedi Master James Dalamar. One of her first acts as Chief of State was the creation of a Jedi Academy on the New Republic capital of Talasea. However, the Academy was destroyed during an assault on Talasea by a combined Shivan and Imperial armada. Because of criticism from members of the Senate regarding her leadership during the defeat at Talasea, she decided to take a short leave of absence from the duties of Chief of State, naming former Chief of State Kid Sampson as interim Chief of State.

Early in her political career, Alicia recognized that corruption was a major problem within the New Republic, and therefore when she returned to office, she began enacting a series of reforms designed to streamline the government and eliminate corruption at all levels. However, her reforms put her at odds with many ranking officers of the Fleet and a number of senior Senators who had many activities they would have liked to keep away from the eyes of the young Chief of State.

While Alicia could become one of the most powerful of the Jedi, her duties as Chief of State prevent her from fully exploring her potential as a Jedi. Strangely enough, Alicia finds telekinesis, a skill that is of almost second nature to most Jedi, very difficult. However, her weakness in manipulating the physical world through the Force is more than balanced by her mastery in influencing the minds of others.
