At Kid's words, Alicia turned to look at Michael. Her amethyst eyes, glittering in the sunlight, betrayed no emotion, remaining cool and neutral. Yet they seemed to stare straight through Michael into his soul.
Closing her eyes, she turned back to face Kid. After a moment of silence, she opened her eyes and looked up in the Jedi Master's face.
"Master Sampson, Michael is being pulled in many directions. I cannot decide his path for him - that choice is his, and his alone. If he chooses to accompany me, I will be grateful for his companionship. However, if he decides to remain here at the Praxeum to look after his 'sister' and to search for the answers to the questions that linger in his mind, I wish him the best of luck."
