Sensing attitude and confrontation across the room from various sources, Kid steps up and lets out a loud telepathic burst which catches those in the room and those who have left.
~ENOUGH!!~
He stands for a moment before continuing, both telepathically and verbally. "Everyone in this room plays an important role in what is going to transpire here in the near future. It's how we handle things that determines the fate of the galaxy, and I'm not going to sit by and listen to the telepathic bickering and witness sarcastic comments back and forth between us all. We're supposed to be the defenders of the galaxy. We're supposed to hold ourselves to a higher standard." Kid looks at Gerrin. "And although the best of us still manage to make mistakes and unintentionally hurt those around them," he says, speaking of both his and Gerrin's behavior. "We must strive on and maintain unity in these times. Because what's at work here supercedes all of us. And without complete and total teamwork, we're not going to survive long enough to regret any mistakes we make."
His eyes pass through the room to each member present, and his mind touches those who have left. "What we need to do is not make hasty decisions. And I think sending out a team of Jedi this very instant is just that. We don't know yet whether Dakkon is feeding from this energy himself or passing this energy on to his own personal army of Dark Jedi. Let's not send lambs to the slaughter before we know how many butchers they're going up against. In the meantime, anyone who feels they would like to take part in an offensive strike against Dakkon Zercies and his Sith companions, feel free to volunteer. I will not, nor should anyone else, force another member present here to step back from what they feel is their duty, nor will anyone be forced to take part in such an encounter. If you are confident enough in your own abilities and feel you would be best served on the battlefield, that is your choice. However, this praxeum's safety and security must NOT be compromised. The Kathol Rift itself provides good defenses, but we must not let our guard down. Therefore, we need compitent Jedi to remain here in the event that something should come up."
"So there you have it, people," Kid says, quieter now. "For now, I suggest that we begin assembling a team of volunteers ready to combat these heinous warriors, but we mustn't act before we know more about the situation. We'll need our most powerful Jedi to reach out through the Force and collect as much information as possible to prepare for the coming conflicts before ANY action should be taken. It is impossible to see what you're up against when you run into a fight blind. And the lives in this room... the lives not here... are all too valuable to throw away over something as preventable as planning and tactics. As I said before... we are the defenders of this galaxy. We have no choice but to succeed, for the fate of the galaxy rests in our hands. May the Force be with us all."
He slowly sits down, eyeing the reactions of those present.
