"Pollux, since the Jedi Purge, Jedi have been few in number, and have relied on themselves to survive. This means that the Jedi have grown into a hardy, independent lot. It is time to re-instill those Old Republic teachings and values into the Jedi Order. I would be grateful if you were to teach the Code as it was during the Old Republic.
"The last thing we need now is a schism. It was such a schism of doctrine that created the original Sith, and the dark Jedi that followed them. While we will have three Praxeums, the core principles, embodied within the Code, must remain constant. The emphasis - be it Control, Sense, or Alter - may differ based on tradition."
