"There are two things I wish to discuss with you here, today, Master Pollux." He pauses for a second, remembering his half-prepared speech. "First, there is the incident on Kreeul (ooc-I think it was). Not just the actual events, but those leading up to them. I feel I may have acted too rashly, putting myself and others in danger. Master Sampson tried to stop me, but I wouldn't have his words, as they seemed out of place. I felt then that waiting longer was a bad idea, that it would only lead to more death. This is why I went, but looking back, it seems I was simply caught up too much in the moment. I did spend the whole day meditating, but I did not consult a Jedi Master on the subject, and my mind was clouded with a troubling vision I'd had less than a full day before. I feel that I may have tempted the darkside in my haste, and this is why I consult you. So you feel that I lack the patience necessary to be one with the Light?

"Looking back on my decisions since I began my Jedi training, I see that I have acted hastily several times, all of which could have had very deadly results, again for myself and others. Just like how I felt on Talasea, I felt on Kreeul. I felt I had to help the people on the planet, at least by delaying the Sith that were attacking so they had time to evacuate. And this time, I felt that I had to stop the Sith from hurting the people they were slaughtering for as long as possible while other Jedi brought themselves to action. Was I wrong in doing this, and should I have been more patient? I understand much of the teachings of the Jedi, and I understand the importance of patience, a virtue I seem to lack."

He stops, sighing slightly, thinking about what he's said, then continuing.

"The second problem came to my attention shortly after I got back here. It is the rumor I've heard of a new Jedi Order being formed. This seems wholesome at first, but then I'm forced to look at the Jedi Order of the Old Republic. The real problem I have is that we, the Jedi, will be restricted by New Republic law if we create an Order designed to serve the Republic. This means that if we serve to help people on Imperial controlled planets, for example, we will be committing treason for aiding an enemy of the Republic. Also, the politics of the Republic are too slow, too diplomatic. They could prevent our taking action in any number of situations, while we're forced to await their final word.

"The New Republic also commits actions that go against the Jedi Code. They strike their enemies, steal from them, destroy them. They also destroy civilian lives in their military campaigns. The New Republic is not as far-reaching as the Old, and they are forced into more battles as such. I feel that aligning ourselves with them will be counteractive the to the Jedi cause. On a similar note, I feel that acting in accord to any government would continue to stem our growth. This could lead to bias in situations, making us feel that the people we support are always the good guys, and this could be troubling misleading. I feel that we should be able maintain an unbiased opinion on any situation, and I don't feel that will be possible if we make allies of one side."

Again, he dakes a deep breath, this one of relief from having gotten that off his chest, and he now awaits a response.
