Crossing the room, Alicia stands beside Master Sampson and looks out the window at the monument plaza and the buildings and parks around it. A couple clouds glide majestically across the pale blue sky.
After a moment of silence, Alicia turns to the Jedi Master.
"I appreciate your concern for my safety, Master Sampson, and I will defer to you in this matter. I will be honored to have Michael serve as my protector. In fact, I was thinking of going to Exis Station to recover some Jedi artifacts and records, and it would be very helpful to have him come along.
"About the Jedi Academies. . . I see and share your concerns with the Kathol Praxeum, Master Sampson. Its isolation are both a blessing and a curse, and from a purely strategic standpoint, I can see many problems. I do think that your suggestion of rebuilding the Jedi Temple on Coruscant is an excellent idea. In fact, a Jedi Temple on Coruscant in conjunction with the Praxeums in the Kathol and Dalasian sectors would allow us three centers of Jedi instruction with three different emphasises."
Turning from the window, Alicia picked up a sheet of paper from her desk.
"If everything goes according to schedule, the repairs and construction being done in Imperial City should be complete well before Restoration Day. It would be fitting for the government to move back to Coruscant, and have the new Senate Hall and Jedi Temple dedicated in ceremonies during Restoration Day.
"Perhaps I'll be able to announce the formal establishment of the Jedi Order at the same time," she added with a smile. "With the approval of the Senate, of course."
