With two dozen Imperial construction droids at their disposal, a New Republic construction team begins the long task of rebuilding the palace district on Coruscant, as well as the surrounding districts of Imperial City.

A general plan for the city is programmed into the forty-story construction droids, who begin the tearing down buildings too badly damaged to be repaired, repairing others, and building new ones.

Meanwhile, an army of artisans from all over the New Republic arrive at Imperial City to begin the task of restoring it to its former glory.
