It's springtime!  Here are pictures taken beside Thomas Jefferson Tidal Basin & Washington Monument in Washington, DC.  Baby, Jenny, & Susan had picnic on the grass with sandwich, biscuit, & soda on a lunch break.  That's cool.

See the cherry blossom trees (with white and pink flowers) as background.  According to history, 3000 trees of this kind were donated by the Japanese in 1912.  They bloom only in springtime.  Every year, Cherry Blossoms Festival is celebrated in DC with parade and other events.
