Parker 17 Cliffhanger Brown Hair Green eyes
Why she's here (it's along one!) When she was young her parents started to fight a lot so she started to act out (started at about 5 or 6). The thing was that she was only really, really bad around her parents. But then, probably because of low self esteem due to verbal abuse by her father, she is super shy at school and obeys everthing. Really good student. When things get worse her grades get better but she starts to develop anorexia (about 13). It isn't because she wants to be skinny. Looks never mattered to her. In fact, she's very, very good looking. She was anorexic because she felt out of control and this was a way for her to gain some control. Her grades stayed good and she was able to hide her disorder until things really started to spin out of control. All of a sudden the fights got horrible. Either the police were involved or one parent stormed out leaving without coming back for days. That's when her grades started to fall way way down. One day her mother stormed out and took her ! little brother and sister whom she fought so hard to protect from the fighting (around 14 almost 15). She didn't come back. At first Parker wasn't that worried but then she realized after a couple weeks that she wasn't coming back. Her father started to drink heavily and smack her around. He called her horrible names and treated her like garbage. She went thourgh all this without letting anyone know. She was still suffering from anorexia and still covering it up. She never became bulimic because it wasn't (as stated earlier) about weight it was about control. When she couldn't take it anymore (at about 15 almost 16) she ran away. The first time her dad called the police and they brought her back. But then she did it again and he didn't even bother. So she lived on the streets for a little over a year when she was found by her mother who had done well and was now making good money at a succesful job and overall she was happy. Her brother (Kyle) and sister (Joanne) are happy and! barely remember their father. She is found on accident when she was arrested for petty theft and was sent to a juvenile councellor (who ironically enough was her mother). When she saw what trouble Parker was in she sent her to Horizon. She knew that she couldn't help Parker by herself. Parker was still very upset with her mom for not taking her with her. While she was on the streets she learned to steal (usually successfully) she hated it but did it to survive. She experimented with drugs but tried not to do anything to hard. She mainly only did drugs when someone had some no matter how strong her cravings were. She was bent on saving her money so that she could help herself stay alive. One day only a few months after she left she was approached for sex by an older man who mistook her for a prostitute. When she refused and explained she wasn't who he thought she was, he attacked her and threw her in his car. He drove a little ways down the rode to a dark alley and started to try and rape her. He was able to get very far but she was lucky enough to somehow break away when he was startled by a nearby car backfiring. This still haunts her even though she hides it well. The anorexia subsided when she was on the streets beacuse surviving was more important but after a short while at horizon her disorder starts to slowly resurface. She would run if If she felt really threatened. Otherwise she would stay for the same reasons as Shelby (even though she doesn't like it there, it's her safe haven.) Would she tell Probably not directly because she is one to cover up her feelings without sugar coating anything. But if it got out to them she would probably break down or something similar. She would most likely confide in Sophie first. How would she act towards the students/staff sarcastic and hostile but at the same time not mean. Funny without being to aware of it. Mainly does anything to avoid dealing with emotional interaction. Listens to adults without being a kiss up or being too good. She would fall for a student if it were the right kinda person She's been at Horizon for about a month or so |
