Roles of Females | ||||||||
Aforementioned, in most cultures and societies, males are dominant and have more power in general than females. Women are considered to be less important and carry with them much less power. The roles of women are to stay at home and be a good housewife and mother. She cooks all the food, cleans up around the house, and takes care of all the children. Luckily, since many people lived in the same dwelling, women had help from other women; relatives like mothers-in-law or sisters-in-law. Females, unlike the males, were the uneducated sex. Education for daughters was never even a question for parents, even if they were opulent. Though females are uneducated in China, they still stayed at home and taught their young children about the world. However, in modern times, women have basically the same roles as men. But their role in being a good housewife and mother have not changed. |
