Bomb blast seriously injures three in Indonesia's Ambon
A bomb has exploded in Indonesia's restive eastern city of Ambon, injuring five
people, three of them seriously.
Ambon police said the home made bomb exploded under a bench in front of a store.
The blast came the day after Indonesian President Megawati Sukarno paid a brief visit
to the strife-torn city, pledging that her government would act against separatist
aspirations there.
Ambon was last month rocked by communal violence that claimed 38 deaths.
