Further casualties in ongoing unrest in Indonesia's Ambon
Gunfire and explosions are continuing to rock the eastern Indonesian city of Ambon,
after week-long Muslim-Christian clashes that have left 37 people dead.
A hospital official says 13 people were taken to Al Fatah hospital with burns and
injuries caused by homemade bomb explosions just before dawn.
The city was reported to be generally calm later on Friday, with civil servants
beginning to return to their offices and shops re-opening.
A banned parade by Christian separatists sparked off the bloodshed last Sunday in
Ambon, the Maluku provincial capital.
The violence was the worst since a February 2002 pact ended three years of religious
battles in which 5,000 people died.
