Rioters on speedboat open fires, one injured in ambon
Ambon, Maluku, May 20 (ANTARA) - A group of unidentified rioters aboard a
speedboat were reported to have opened fires on the Teluk Dalam Ambon waters on
Wednesday night injuring one person, it was reported here Thursday.
The injured, Frangky Sahertian, who suffered gunshot wounds on his right arm and
right thigh while fishing on the waters in Wayame village, Baguala subdistrict, at about
11 p.m. local time, had been rushed to a navy hospital.
Attending doctor at the hospital, Dr Djoko, told ANTARA here Thursday the victim is
now under intensive medical treatment after being treated previously at the Baguala
subdistrict health service centre at about 3 a.m. (on Thursday).
