*** High Blood Pressure ***
Blood pressure is defined as the amount of pressure exerted against the arterial walls Your blood pressure  is an index to the efficiency of the complete circulatory system.

Blood pressure is measured in two parts:

Systolic:
This results from the hearts contraction as blood is ejected from the ventricles into the body and is indicated by the first, or top, number of the reading

Diastolic:
This phase results from the heart's relaxation as blood fills the chambers of the heart, and is indicated by the second, or bottom number of the reading.

A normal reading is
120 Systolic
                                    80 Diastolic

Regular vigorous exercise tends to decrease your blood pressure by strengthening your cardiovascular system and helping the haert to become more efficent.
If you are overweight, you will have a tendency for increased blood pressure because of the added demand on the heart and blood vessels.
