Reo GB Speed Wagon. This vehicle provided the first motor transport service from Whatatu to Gisborne in 1930. After a period as a mobile home it was donated to Tauranga Museum and then mad its way to ECMOT. A replica of the original wooden body has been built. I hope the original had curtains as the trip would have taken 2 to 3 hours in 1930.
