TECHNICA OVERCLOCKING
by Component

Hiya! And welcome to my technica reference/guide...
Call it what you will ... it's stuff I picked up along my Merry Overclocking way... I hope that you find some of it more useful than repetitive -sometimes when you go over the basics you find you have another UNTHOUGHT OF avenue to pursue. This is particularly useful if you have problems with keeping stability or some other odd glitch...

Okay, so you either found out you have an overclockers motherboard, or that you need a little tweaking in order to achieve some mad overclock from your current rig ... OKAY THEN!

Hopefully here you'll find some useful information about your hardware that is not commonly known. Stuff only your daddy teaches you 'cos it's so closely guarded. heh :)

Please note that most of this stuff is taken either from my own experience or from other sites on the web, people posting on forums and so on (probably the latter).

If you find something out of sorts please email me at nzmostyn@yahoo.co.nz

What are you trying to acheive or do? What are you aiming to get the most out of?

RAM - Random Access Memory

CPU - Central Processing Unit

AGP Card - Accelerated Graphics Port

HDD - Hard Disk Drive?

HSF - Cooling Factor

Are you trying to make it more STABLE or are you going to all extremes just so you can beat your mate to 5000 3dmark 2003 points?

These are things you are going to have to first CONSIDER prior to doing anything drastic or crazy with/to your system components. Read some of the consequences HERE before you go about modifying things in your setup. This includes your OS (operating system) and any registry tweaks you may be using.

Now that the formalities are out of the way, I hope you can enjoy the info provided here, as it took a while to collate and may already be replaced or even removed from the given URLs by the time you read this.
