HERNANDO MAGTIBAY CENTENO
Hernando Centeno or Rhanen as the Red 505 fondly call him now, hailed from Rosario, Batangas. After graduation on April 22, 1972 Rhanen enrolled at Adamson University and then in 1974 nag-stokwa sa Bicol up to 1974. He took some time off from his studies returned as a working student in Adamson University in 1978. He graduated in 1981 with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. During his college days, he met some of the Red505s- Arnel Lopez, Marcel Perez, Rommel Lattore to name a few. Immediately after graduation, he got married and has a daughter- IVY MADONNA who is now 18 years of age.

In 1985 he worked for Caltex refinery as corrosion and material inspector (contractual basis) under Asia Inspection Specialist. In 1987-88, he worked as a freelance consultant. In 1989, he was employed in government service as an Archivist in The National Archives. The office, now Records Management and Archives Office under the National Commission for Culture and the Arts, is a presidential commission based in the City of Davao.

Davao is now the home for Rhanen. This is the place where he found peace with his work, his life and his heart. He met his current wife here, the land of durian and sweet mangosteen.

His unforgettable experience during high school days was when the class visited the City of Baguio, the reward the class received for topping the solicitation drive for the school yearbook - The Stallion. His best friend during that time was not from Red 505,but Rolando Carnero from Lemery, Batangas. His favorite teachers were Mr. Flores and Mrs. Rabago (formerly Miss Elsie Arguelles).
