Rodel migrated to Europe in 1980...but found life there was not easy for him in the beginning. Luck finally struck him and he landed a job in Philips Electronics. He is now very happy in Europe..where he find it quiet and peaceful...but now 'addicted' to the sports of golf...(dahil sa kagagawan daw ni General..lagi kasing pinagyayabang yong 3 hole-in-one niya). In one of his visits to the United States, he met 3 Reddies - Ed Garcia, Wasang and Gil last 1997 in Los Angeles. Since then, a series of mini reunions have transfired. A reunion worth remembering for Rodel was in Club Victorina.(Kahit bagyo ay marami pa ding dumating..) Rodel is happy to be a part of the elite class RED-505..so proud and hoping for more reunions to come...Rodel is looking at his crystal ball and is seeing double..why not 2002...ok....keep in touch.
Well, after our graduation Rodel enrolled in the University of Santo Tomas in Espana, Manila, Philippines. He took up ECE and graduated in 1977. He worked for Sanyo Philippines and in-between helped in his father's business. He then met his future wife, while she was working in one of the hospitals in Vienna, Austria. His wife is a registered nurse. Rodel and his wife is blessed with one child- Michael and is now 18 yrs. old.
