By the Power of Greyskull ![]() OK, I'm mixing my cartoons here, but I've been thinking about super powers recently. If I were to be given the chance to have a super power, what would it be - invisibility, x-ray vision, the ability to fly/scale buildings or have superhuman strength? No, frankly I think that these are all too much hassle - I think you'd end up going all around the world helping out others and defeating the enemy, leaving no time to simply enjoy your skill. No, I think that my super power would need to be less dramatic and allow me to lead a normal existance. Then it came to me. If someone is driving like an idiot - you know, doing 10 miles an hour along a 40 mph stretch of road or pulling out of a side turning right in front of you, not indicating correctly, or the most heinous of crimes - coming to a complete standstill at a roundabout when there is absolutely no traffic around, I'd love the power to be able to make their car simply disappear from underneath them. If this were to happen, what a pleasurable experience driving would become, driving past the bemused faces of these incompetent motorists, left stranded due to their inability to understand the rudiments of the highway code. 2006-04-11 18:08:17 GMT

Certainly, needing to (during a time of emergency) find a quiet corner in order to hold aloft one's magic sword, or change into a costume that will restrict 60& of your mobility always seemed like an error.

Also, I never understood how He-Man's secret identity, Prince Adam was such a coward and weakling despite having the exact same physical dimensions as He-Man himself... Odd.

When it comes to costumes and changing, I believe that Eric Twinge of 29 Acacia Road, Nuttytown had the most effective method for transfer into character.
