"Drive past, check it out!  Take someone from the church, who can’t drive, with you"

Thank you to the many helpers who worked on the manse painting, sanding, feeding the workers (the food was great) or just for the support that everyone gave in turning the outside of the manse into something to be proud of.
I am sure we all got a lot more from doing this job than just paint in the hair, sore arms and the need of a long sleep.  I believe the neighbours saw us taking pride in what we have, and the church working together as a team.  (The neighbour has now started on his house).
I need to make special mention of Sharyn who received my many phone calls to bounce ideas off without telling me to go away.  “Thanks Sharyn”
Bruce for getting up early and putting up with people all over his house, inside and out.  Also for spending a couple of weeks before painting treating the moss.  “Thanks Bruce”
Fleur for her hard work mixing the paint and putting up with us changing our minds just before the mixing.  Also for her (as always) helpful hints and supplying all our needs and beyond.  Fleur also did a great job of the new curtains in the manse bathroom to be.
“Thanks Fleur”
Sean for putting up the donated copper spouting brackets to replace the broken ones on the manse.  Donated by Kippenbergers.   “Thanks Sean”
Also a big thank you to Doug for putting the heater and towel rail into the manse bathroom to be.  A belated thank you should also go to Doug for putting the new outside lights on the church.  “Thanks Doug”
A big thank you must go to Graeme Wilson and Stan Ridley for the ongoing work they have done and are still doing on the manse, doing all the bits we didn’t get done on Wednesday and Saturday.  “Thanks guys”
And, of course “Thanks to all of you”
