Check this out!!! Click to enlarge

Click to enlarge The amp was just completely and professionally inspected by AGA amp guru RonSonic in Florida who gave it a brand new bill of health. All of the original capacitors checked out as new and were therefore not replaced. A few resisitors were replaced as needed.

Though it cost me more than $60 for the service, it is Click to enlarge worth it to me to able to say wih complete confidence that this amp is in PERFECT operating condition!

The amp is so quiet, you won't even know it's on! And the tone... well, that's the best part of this entire package! Turned down low, this amp is the perfect practice amp. Cranked, it exudes classic blues tone all the way! Pipe her through the 2x12 cabinet and you've got a an honest-to-goodness gig rig!

As you probably know, the Fender Champ is all-tube, sporting a 6V6 power tube, 12AX7 preamp tube, and a 5Y3GT rectifier tube. All point-to-point wired, typical Fender eyelet board, cloth-covered wiring... this is the real deal!

Everyone knows that WeberVST is the name for the best new speakers in the world. And with this rig, you get the two most often recommended speakers for the Fender Champ: Click to enlarge a Weber C8RS for 60's brown tone and a Weber C8SS for classic Fender tone. You can easily swap back and forth between them whenever you want a different tone. That's another $60 for the speakers.

And if that is not enough, then hook this baby up to the 2x12 cabinet, crank her up and rock out! And get this... no mods were done to the amp to allow you to easily hook it up and external cabinet! That's right! This year of Fender Champ Click to enlarge came with an RCA jack into which the speaker cable plugs on the underside of the chassis. I had RonSonic build a custom cable with a 1/4" input on one side and an RCA jack on the other and - voila! - instant speaker out.

The only cosmetic gufaw on the Champ is a small tear of the tolex on the corner as shown and some oxidization of the chassis straps (shown below). Otherwise, the Champ is in near mint condition with a flawless faceplate, perfect knobs, and all parts present and accounted for! Click to enlarge

Operationally, the amp is like new! I absolutely guarantee the condition of this amp!

The accompanying 2x12 cabinet does not have an identifying marks but is obviously a brand name given its construction. The only cosmetic guffaw on the cabinet is fraying of the tolex on the bottom as shown in the pictures.

The speakers are 60's vintage Eminence AlNico 12" speakers and are in perfect shape - no voice coil rub, tears - nothing!
