Polls Show Auburn is #1 If you spend a little time looking at the final polls for the 2004/2005 football season a clear picture emerges. It shows that Auburn is No. 1. No need to consult BCS computers. No need to calculate schedule strength. The media polls do it simply on their own. The polls show that Auburn is the actual national champion. The explanation atop the polls read, "The Top 25 teams in the college football final poll." The text explains that a team receives 25 points for a first-place vote, 24 points for a second-place vote, and so on down to the one point for a 25th place vote. The University of Southern California defeated 4 teams in the Top 25: No. 10 Virginia Tech, No. 9 California, No. 19 Arizona State, and No. 3 Oklahoma. Using AP's own point system, Va Tech merits 16 points, California 17, Az State 7, and Oklahoma 23. Those 4 teams are the AP top 25 teams which USC had wins against. This awards 63 quality win points to USC, 16 + 17 + 7 + 23 = 63. Auburn had 5 victories over teams in the AP Top 25. Auburn beat No. 16 LSU, No. 13 Tennessee (twice), No. 7 Georgia, and No. 10 Va Tech. Using AP's own point system, LSU merits 10 points, Tennessee 26 (13 times 2), Georgia 19, and Va Tech 16. This awards 71 quality win points to Auburn: 10 + 13 + 19 + 13 +16 = 71. The AP system as you can see, awarded 71 points to Auburn. For the Media poll people who obviously do not understand the most basic math, Auburn 71 to USC 63 is a clear victory for Auburn as scored by the AP’s own system. The numbers do not lie, but the media polls putting USC at #1 obviously do. Those numbers are the AP's own point values for a single vote. These numbers were not taken from the BCS rankings or some other poll; they are the AP point numbers. The AP’s own numbers from their own system exposes their bias, prejudice, and bigotry against colleges from the south like Auburn and other non liberal colleges that are not in bed with the media. Using the AP poll as a measure, Auburn has more quality wins. Auburn had 5 wins in games against top25 opponents, but USC had only 4. The media cheated Auburn out of the spot Auburn earned in the championship game. The following link has additional proof that Auburn is the national champ. http://www.oocities.org/obaby0o/Auburn2004champ.xls As the link above makes obvious, Auburn had earned a spot to play in the national championship game more than USC. The media poll corruption gave USC a spot over Auburn in the national title game even though Auburn had more wins against ranked teams than USC had. Did media poll voters even consider their own completed ballots, and the glaring inconsistencies they revealed, before sending them in ? Were they trying to shoot themselves in the foot ? Were they trying to remove the last speck of credibility from the media polls assuming even a speck was there ? Were they trying to stain the Media’s poor reputation even more ? Was the AP poll sabotaged ? Were the media pollsters biased ? drunk ? insane ? on crack ? Never mind that Auburn (13-0) had the best record in the country. Never mind how many losses USC might have had if USC played as many top 25 opposition level games as Auburn played. Never mind that the Media claims they report the news instead of create it like they tried to create it with the bogus polls of 2004/5. Never mind that the Media reports its own news, of the media, by the media, for the media, by the liberals, for the liberals. Forget all that - Just look at the final AP poll for the 2004 season. It clearly shows Auburn is #1 on its own. The longer you look at it, the more obvious it becomes that Auburn earned a better ranking than USC, that Auburn had a better record to qualify for a berth in the championship game than USC had. Its also clear that the Media cannot possibly be so stupid that they cannot even do basic 2nd grade math such as counting and adding; the only possible explanation is media dishonesty, bias, bigotry, and favoritism for liberal colleges and the liberal media hatred of southern colleges like Auburn and of the South in general. Media poll voters will probably use the biased polls for 2004 as a starting point for filling out a preseason ballot for 2005 so expect the initial 2005 media polls to unfairly favor the liberal colleges like USC. Ten years from now, from top to bottom, the final AP poll for the 2004/5 season will speak even louder about which teams are on it, which teams are not, what it says, and what it does not say. The AP poll also showcases the bias, madness, and prejudice of the Media for the liberal media colleges such as USC, and how the Media has no credibility and should not be trusted. The media polls are glaring examples of why the media polls should be excluded from any influence on the BCS ranking system. No wonder the AP pollsters hate computers; the computers don’t know how to lie and cheat and computers have no bigoted preference for liberal colleges. The bogus media polls belong in the National Enquirer between bigfoot sightings and News of the Weird. http://www.oocities.org/obaby0o/BCSbest.html ==> for more info www.oocities.org/obaby0o/APshowsLSU1.html ==> for more info |
