ASSINGMENT SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS

 

 

 

I. ASSIGNMENTS THAT ARE REQUIRED TO TURN IN FOR GRADING

 

·         MCA Assignment will be in the format of multiple choice.  It consists of theory, cases, and scenario of each chapter. 

 

§  MCA question statements can be downloaded from the course website.

§  Scantron will be provided by the instructor.  It will be distributed in class. 

§  Before submitting the scantron, make sure the following information are printed on both front and back of the scantron.

§  NOTE: Failure to adhere to these instructions will result in a 20% deduction of the assignment grade.

 

·         SALA, Self Assessment Library Assignment will be in the format of survey analysis and discussion questions.

§  The SAL Assignment requires students to participate in an OB topic survey analysis.  Based on the survey analysis result, the student can then answer the discussion questions that are assigned in the SAL Assignment. 

 

§  Students are required to use an Access Code that comes with the text to access the SAL website.

 

§  Upon completion of the specific SAL Assignment survey analysis from the website, student is required to email a copy of the survey analysis result to the instructor immediately. The survey result must be completed and emailed to the instructor a day before the next class. At the same time, student should print a hardcopy of the same as a reference and to be based on to answer the discussion questions that are given in the same SAL Assignment.

 

§  For each SAL Assignment, students are required to submit a hardcopy of the survey analysis result and a typed copy of the answers for the discussion questions.  A Cover Page (Click to download a sample copy) is required for each SAL Assignment.  The cover page needs to be placed on top of the answer page of the discussion questions then followed by the Printed survey analysis result.  Each SAL Assignment must be stapled in the upper left hand corner of the SAL Assignment.

§  NOTE: Failure to adhere to these instructions will result in a 20% deduction of the assignment grade.

 

·          GA, Group Assignment requires a group effort to complete the assignment.

§  GA can be assigned in the formats of case, discussion questions, in class and others.  

 

§  All GA required the use of a Cover page. The cover page should be presented in a specific format. (Click to download a sample copy). 

 

§  When GA is assigned, each group should submit only one submission to the instructor for grading. The cover page should clearly indicate the group member’s name.  Member’s name that is not printed on the cover page of a particular GA will not receive the GA grade.  All members should receive the same grade for each GA.  Group members should be the same as the members that make up in the class Group Project.

 

§  If a Group In Class assignment is assigned and a member is absent for the session, the member is not allowed to receive the In Class Assignment grade.  The member’s name should not be printed on the cover page.  All Group In Class Assignment must be completed in class and submitted in class.

 

§  All Group In Class Assignment must be stapled in the upper left hand corner with a cover page.

 

§  NOTE: Failure to adhere to these instructions will result in a 20% deduction of the assignment grade.

 

II. ASSIGNMENTS THAT ARE NOT REQUIRED TO TURN IN FOR GRADING

 

·         Discussion Question Assignment (DQ A).  DQ A will be in the format of discussion.

 

§  Questions and Answers will be posted on the websites.

 

§  It is very important for students to comprehend these DQ A as students are expected to know how to answer these similar questions during the test.
