I was fascinated to see the behind the scenes activities that occur before fish ever reaches the market or restaurant.

The market specializes in tuna.  Some of these fish weigh over 650 pounds.

The fish arrive fresh from the boats at the docks behind the market or frozen in trucks.

The auctioneer stands near each fish as buyers bid on it.

Fish buyers carefully examine the tuna before they participate in an auction.
