-the purpose of homestay is mutual understanding between ASEAN and Japan

Cambodia
-the family must have ample time to be with the PYs.

Philippines
-PYs must know how to deal within rich / poor
-should not complain
-do not demand things
-protocol for PYs to observe and respect each culture
-time to meet the parents
-homestay is incomparable, not only the material aspect but the culture
-see the positive not only the negative
-no country will put the PYs in danger
-each PYs protocol for the homestay
-Part of the training the do’s and the don’ts
-Basic English knowledge is important for communication

Suggestions  :
-homestay should be weekend
-information / training on behavior of the PYs
-training as *******, knowledge, on the culture
-parents must have time with the PYs
-parents must attend the send-off ceremony
-PYs ********* and acceptance
-Families should not treat PY as guest but as a member of their family
-ex-PYs family can be ***** because they have enough experience and they know how to communicate
-families who do homestay has other programs must be given a chace
-foster families who do not attend on matching ceremonies, there must be a back up man or a back up family
