Crimson Angel
O'er years of clouded pain she flies
Dispatching angels to the world;
Wiping tears of those who cry,
Her flowing crimson hair unfurls.
Compassion flows across the waves
Where all the angels briefly rest;
She understands how sorrow feels,
So love she summons from its nest.
Kindness is a gift she brings,
Beyond the heavens to the souls,
Of troubled hearts which cannot sing,
Where bells of joy do seldom toll.
And so, tonight, i drift to sleep
Smiling at the stars above,
I know my soul, her angels keep,
Safe from harm and blessed by love.
