The exalted Nabooru

Queen of the Gerudo Theives

The pic is linked to its source. I will put up my own later. : p

Hidden in the corners of Hyrule, deep withing the mountains that lie outside the desert live the Gerudo, a band of theives. The recquirements to join their ranks? You must be a woman...

...or just really really really skilled: that is how Link found out about her. He spurred his mare Epona on, jumping across the deep canyon over the river, and across to the Gerudo valley. This is where the wild women lived. They often raided Hyrule Village, instilling fear among the people, and greedily hording massive quantites of gold: so much in fact that not even a giant's wallet could hold it all. They rode in on horseback, bows at the ready. The length of their spears enabled them to finish any opponent long before they could even react. Fear riddled anyone who heard the ominous clank of their twin falchions.

There was also a strange, violent beauty hidden underneath their purple masks. Their large, yellow, doe-like eyes glinted with a strange desert allure, reminiscent of the dancing mirages which hypnotized and bedazzled those who became lost in the sands. Their faces were seductively painted--bright pink lips, mystical shades over their eyes, long lines of mascara. Necklaces and bracelets jingled and rattled as they walked past their adobe huts built against the cliffs of the desert canyon. And all of it was topped with long, straight, cherry-red hair, which was often rolled into a tight bun, skewered with a stilleto dagger--a last resort weapon.

Avail, an armored member of the sorority dropped from the shadows, her falchions drawn. She threw herself at Link, spinning like some bladed top. There was no way to parry her slashes, as his broadsword was too heavy to counter both of her flowing swords. His wrist turned the shield, desperatly trying to hinder the onlsaught of sharpened steel. She lunged! He thrust! The veil fell to the floor, and she was masked only by the two strands of ruby-red hair that fell before her face. It was this sister who turned Nabooru over to Link. Cross the desert she said, and in the temple is where you will find her.
