Salt Creek Falls One more example of Oregon's beauty. This waterfall is on the way to some pass(?) that we go by on our way to Idaho. You're climbing up the mountain, and the you go through this tunnel. When you reach the other side, it's not more than ten seconds before you can see this waterfall peeking through the trees. This waterfall also happens to be a nice place to have a picnic or go hiking or other activities of the sort. Much of the area is paved and the guard rails have been especially built to accomodate wheelchairs. But, like many other Oregon attractions, it is free. It's just on the side of the road, for anyone to visit. Very nice. |
