First 8: Shuffle forward, rock-step, shuffle back, rock-step
1&2 Shuffle forward R-L-R
3-4 Rock-step L foot forward, recover weight in place on R foot
5&6 Shuffle back L-R-L
7-8 Rock back on R foot, recover weight in place on L foot
Second 8 (9-16): 1/2 turning shuffle, rock-step, 1/2 turning shuffle, rock-step
1&2 Step R foot forward starting 1/2 turn to the left, step L foot next to R foot, step back on R foot to complete 1/2 turn
3-4 Rock back on L foot, recover weight on R foot in place
5&6 Step L foot forward starting 1/2 turn to the right, step R foot next to L foot, step back on L foot to complete 1/2 turn
7-8 Rock back on R foot, recover weight in place on L foot
Third 8 (17-24): Diagonal step-slide, diagonal step-slide, two 1/4 turns with optional hip circles
1-2 Step R foot diagonally forward to right, slide-step L foot to meet R foot
3-4 Step R foot diagonally forward to right, slide-step L foot to meet R foot
5-6 Step R foot forward, turn 1/4 to left and shift weight to L foot (optional: ccw hip circle)
7-8 Step R foot forward, turn 1/4 to left and shift weight to L foot (optional: ccw hip circle)
Fourth 8 (25-32): Forward rock-step, coaster-step, forward rock-step, coaster step or 3 stomps (L-R-L), clap
1-2 Rock R foot forward, recover weight in place on L foot
3&4 Step back on R foot, step L foot next to R foot, step R foot forward
5-6 Rock L foot forward, recover weight in place on R foot*
7&8 Step back on L foot, step R foot next to L foot, step L foot forward*
* Note: Every other time you do counts 29-32 above you will be facing the front wall and you will hear 3 strong beats and the words "Hardwood Stomp." Instead of doing
the Rock-step, coaster-step on counts 5-8, do 3 stomps and a clap: stomp L-R-L moving slightly forward, hold and clap. When facing the back wall, do the rock-step,
coaster-step.
Fifth 8 (33-40): Side, behind, ball-cross, stomp, side, behind, side, stomp-stomp
1-2 Step R foot to right, cross-step L foot behind R foot
&3-4 Step to right on ball of R foot, cross-step L foot over R foot, stomp R foot beside L foot (weight on R foot)
5-6 Step L foot to left, cross-step R foot behind L foot
7&8 Step L foot to left, stomp R foot next to L foot, stomp L foot in place
