That first kiss, so exciting, can make us forget the stages of a D/s relationship. (God knows i am guilty..*lol*).
I have searched and searched for the proper steps/stages of a D/s relationship.
So many questions are in my head.
How to address the Dominant, while courting?
When and how to petition?
How to write a petition or contract?
When to meet or become intimate?
When to ask more intimate questions?
How and when to approach and answer the BDSM check list?
Sometimes i see a "chicken and egg" situation.
The Dominant holds back, as He/She has not been petitioned. The submissive holds back, as she/he does not know if this Dominant is too strong or weak for them.
I have seen too many times, where a Dominant collaring His/Her submissive, will say, "now you will know how Dominant I am". The submissive panicked, wondering why her/his Dominant changed.
I have found a few sites that help, but mostly i have discovered, that each couple defines their own steps. Each move at their own pace. There is no right or wrong.
