Now what kind of shrine is this; its got a fanart page and even a multimedia page and the profile page comes last? Well, I actually did this on purpose because I wanted to have images to put up before I made one. So here it is--Leon's profile page. The info was taken mostly from the game and anime.![]() |

The story of Leon
|
Leon is not physically strong, but he is a very powerful mage. Leon is a smart kid, but is also an arrogant brat that hasn't seen enough of the real world. Because of his intellect, he's pampered to point where he isn't afraid to order people older than him to do things. But after Claude has shown him real friendship and after he got separated from the spoiling environment, Leon stops being so conceited and becomes quite cute ^_^ |
In the anime Leon has a lot more power in the anime. When they were moving the Lacour Hope to the front line, they named it Heinz fortress in the anime, he single-handedly commanded the small army to the place. In the game, it felt more like he was getting to the king through his parents. His parents weren't even in the anime. When Claude finds him at the shore, he freaks out about losing the Lacour Hope instead of his parents like in the game.

In the game
Leon uses mostly water(including ice), darkness, and void spells. If you know how to customize, his spells really kick ass. In the game, Leon only joins the team when you choose Claude as the main character. After getting defeated, while trying to invade El, everyone gets separated at sea. Claude finds only Leon at the shores of El. When he finds out that only he and Claude survived, he cries about how he should just die instead if his parents are gone. Claude slaps him and tells him that he misses his friends just as much as Leon misses his parents. In the anime, it's Precis who slaps him instead, ugh. What I still don't get is why Noel and Leon's relationship levels so high. There weren't too many PA's on the two. I hope it's not because their names are spelled backwards. Hopefully they'll explain better in the anime.

And sadly in the game, Leon's spell Acid Rain is not powerful at all; they made it so powerful in the anime and even turned it into an attack spell. The anime has a way with exaggerating things.
In the manga The manga pretty much follows the game's storyline, but has the anime's art. So it is like a mixture of the two. In my opinion This is 100% opinion so don't read if you could get offended! To tell you the truth, Rena was the one who started out as my favorite character. She was just so cool; she could heal, she could kill(I used her for attacking), and she's got a really cool past. But then, when Leon came to join us for hoffman ruins, I trained him so hard that I wanted him back after he left. So I played out the whole Rena senario hoping that he'll rejoin us. Then I found out you can only get him through Claude. So I played the whole Claude thing and finally got Leon. After working so hard, I started to cherish him. And eventually he became my favorite. I still liked rena even after that, but when the anime came... She doesn't even look seventeen and her voice...weird. Whenever she tries to act serious, I just can't help thinking it's a prepubescent little girl talking about waiting for her man to return. So now I'm a Leon fan. Leon's so cute. And it's kind of funny to have Killua's voice on him(they share voice actress). But this voice actress is good, Killua, from Hunter X Hunter, sounded so arrogant that you wanted to punch him in the face; and that is exactly what Leon is supposed to sound like ^_^
