Yes, OSU WINS!!!!!!!  That is Oregon State University not the other notable OSU.  Those of us who live in the Beaver state (official state animal) did not get much sleep last night, we were too busy celebrating.  For us, this is as good as a Super Bowl, World Series and even a NBA Championship wrapped into one celebration.  Our college teams are the most professional sports that this state has.  Yes, one would say, "but you have the Portland Trailblazers."  My response is, "Do you follow basketball?"   College sports are huge in this state.  The University of Portland Women Soccer team won the national Championship in December 2005.  See Here  A few years ago the University of Oregon came close to wining the football title, it was not to be.

The Beavers played with their hearts.  They borrowed a theme from a baseball team to the north, 1995 Seattle Mariners.  Refuse to Loose  Click Here  The motto must be the Pacific Northwest Sports teams' official mottos from now on.

After this performance by the OSU Beavers (do not confuse them with AAA Baseball Portland Beavers) and the NC Tar Heels,  makes a person wonder if the college rating system has once again been proven to be flawed.  Both of these teams put on a great show.  OSU cam out on top, but this Oregonian would not have been disappointed if NC had taken the Championship.
