This venue will promote music / composition in interactive video. We will have lots of on hand experts to discuss the ins-outs of the business where the audience can get the insider's perspective on the process.

Moderator for the event is Hummie Mann - Two time Emmy-Award winning Canadian Film Composer.

The Seattle-based Odeon String Quartet is comprised of Gennady Filimonov 1st violinist, Andrew Yeung 2nd violin, Michael Lieberman viola, and Paige Stockley cello. Currently, the Odeon String Quartet is the Lehmann Ensemble-in-Residence at Cornish College of the Arts, a residency made possible by a generous gift from Thelma Lehman.

This inaugural concert will take place as part of the Music & Arts Series of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church on Mercer Island, WA. The program features works by Ben Houge, Mike Min, Geoff Ogle, and Korby Sears, with performances by the Odeon String Quartet, Ryan Hare, Florie Rothenberg, Andrea Smardon, and Seattle School. Please join us for an exciting evening of music as we launch this series! Sneak preview: Korby Sears' Water for Pistons will be performed at the next Composers' Salon on January 31, 2003, 8pm, at Soundbridge in Benaroya Hall!
