The Schwab’s Residence
After getting married in 1980, Sissy and I lived in downtown Graz, one of the oldest places in Austria. However, after a few years of city life, we decided it would be much nicer to live in the country and started looking for a house. It took us a few years to find the one we are still living in now – and are very happy in it.

Little by little, we started remodelling, improving, embellishing – so we think – and renovating the place. We still have a long way to go!

More and more flowers were added after we got rid of our flower-nivorous animals. And we had quite a few – sheep, a goat, ducks and even peacocks. It was great fun having them, but the devastation was too terrible to bear… |

A wonderful path was added last year, designed by Sissy. Ferdinand Fromm, our neighbour, did the job while we were trying to make ourselves useful to him. |
